Lightning In A Bottle’s Lineup: The Future of Electronic Music

Lightning in a Bottle

Lightning In A Bottle is one in a handful of California-based transformational festivals that promotes sustainability, social cohesion, personal health, and creative expression. Taking place in Bradley, CA over Memorial Day Weekend, the Do Lab‘s Lightning In A Bottle aims to provide festivalgoers with a carefully crafted 5-day festival experience that delivers a sense of community and wellness by providing one-of-a-kind art installations and stellar performance art as well as opportunities to engage with yoga and dance classes, motivational speakers and health-conscious workshops. Despite the Do Lab’s mesmerizing attention to festival art and forward-thinking festival tactics on mental health and community wellness, they excel best in what many would argue as the most important realm: music. With their reputation preceding them, Do LaB is known for creating unique stages and curating lineups filled to the brim with cutting-edge acts for festivals like Lightning and Coachella. Playing a key role in showcasing musicians throughout Southern California, the Do Lab adorned Lightning In A Bottle’s 10-year anniversary lineup with over 100 innovative artists from all over the world stemming from a multitude of different genres.

This year’s LIB lineup boasts only the most forward-thinking and innovative artists from all genres of electronic music. This year’s talent features a corp of house musicians, including Germany’s Ame, emerging Australian DJ Thomas Jack, UK legend John Digweed, Shiba San and Bakermat and many more. Bass and funk enthusiasts will be pleased to see GRiZ, The Opiuo Band, Zion I and KOAN Sound on this year’s roster. Indie favorites Made In Heights, Polica, Active Child, Les Sins and SOHN will also take the stage, while festival mainstays like Lucent Dossier Experience, Random Rab, and The Human Experience are returning for another year at Lightning in a Bottle. Other notable artists on this year’s lineup include worldwide sensations, Flume and RL Grime as well as up-and-coming favorites, Odesza, Tycho and G Jones. Based on the character of this year’s lineup, it seems like the Do Lab placed a large emphasis on quality and creativity; thus keeping in tradition with the key underlying principles that govern the entire nature of the Lightning In A Bottle festival experience.
