Deadmau5 Joins Grammy Creators Alliance, Drops New Track

Although it sounds a little bit like Superman’s fictional Justice League, the GRAMMY Creators Alliance is a very real and serious coalition of A-list musicians that are committed to maintaining fairness in the business side of music policies and laws. The Recording Academy, a non-profit membership organization representing songwriters, performers and studio professionals, helped to establish the GRAMMY Creators Alliance, which is now giving musicians like Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson and, most recently, Deadmau5, the chance to use their voices in the music industry to personally advise those who make policy in music and in government.

As a sort of music activism, the members of the GRAMMY Creators Alliance exercises their stardom and authority to help today’s leading artists, songwriters and studio professionals be a powerful voice in shaping music’s future. The organization aims to ensure that the future generations of artistic creators are able to experience constant fairness in creating and distributing their music. And due to the recent news that the government is now reviewing and revising national copyright laws, music activism could not be reaching its peak attention at a more appropriate time. Become a part of the movement to preserve and protect music’s future here.
