Rash – Rumors (Original Mix)

Spinnin’ Records and it’s growing subunit Spinnin’ Deep have become notorious for their mysterious marketing schemes, where they release tracks as IDs or plant them in radio shows as IDs. Their first successful attempt was with Martin Garrix’s infamous ‘Animals’, and the label has tried various means of releasing new songs in similar fashions. Most recently, a track called ‘Rumors’ surfaced in multiple radio shows and many were claiming Oliver Heldens & Mr. Probz were behind it, as well as some sources claiming Tchami for the future house gem. Today, the creators finally came forth to take responsibility and it is rising Dutch duo, Pep & Rash.

With an entry like this, it is clear that ‘Rumors’ may become Pep & Rash’s claim to fame in the coming months with so much support for an ID. The future original mixes low-key vocal croons, spastic percussion arrangements, and a groovy bass-saturated drop that will blaze through dance floors. Future house is a force to reckoned with in the upcoming festival season and Pep & Rash will be sure to be up there with pioneers such as Oliver Heldens and Tchami.
