Disclosure, deadmau5, ZHU Among GRAMMY Nominees

Today is without a doubt one of the biggest days in the music industry. Everyone from artists to executives wait to find out if all their hard work will be recognized with a coveted GRAMMY nomination. That being said, there are definitely a few producers from the electronic music community who have a wider smile on their faces today, as they might be walking out of the Staples Center with some nice hardware on February 8th, 2015.

In the dance music categories, Duke Dumont, Basement Jaxx, Disclosure, Clean Bandit, ZHU will be battling it out for Best Dance Recording. This is the second year in a row Disclosure and Dumont have been nominated and they must be extra hungry after going home empty handed last year. deadmau5, Aphex Twin, Little Dragon, Mat Zo, and Röyksopp & Robyn are up for Best Dance/Electronic Album, making this the third time the deadmau5 has been nominated for this award. In the Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical category, the nominees are Kaskade, Ming, Audien, Tiesto, Robin Schulz and Eddie Amador. Finally, DJ Snake also received a nod for Best Music Video thanks to ‘Turn Down For What’.
