UK-based electronic music mainstay Lange’s collaboration with trance-vocalist extraordinaire Betsie Larkin “Insatiable” just received the E.P. treatment today, via a packaged release of a Radio Edit, Extended Mix, Club Mix as well as having received the remix treatment from none other than trance “tytan” Sean Tyas.
The Radio and Extended Mixes offer an airy musicality which is remnant from Lange’s prior release artist album We Are Lucky People. Acting as a minister marrying the sounds of purity and the angelic vocals of Betsie Larkin, Lange creates a dreamscape that is transformed into a dream in clubland with inclusion of the Club Mix and Sean Tyas’ remix. The Club Mix offers an edgier, increasingly energetic side of “Insatiable,” after which Tyas shifts into an even higher gear with his speeding-down-the-highway-worthy driving bass kicks while simultaneously allowing the mix to retain the atmosphere of Lange’s original vision.
