Nominated by Beatport for a Community Choice Artist of the Year award, Hot Since 82 has released a collection of remixes for his recent track “The End”. Produced with legendary Italian DJ Joe T Vannelli, the concluding track off his acclaimed album Little Black Book “The End” has been making its rounds through the deep house sphere for months now. But the buzz hasn’t stopped. Pete Tong just made it his ‘Essential New Tune’ on his radio show last week, and it’s overdue for the remix treatment.
First up is Sabb’s rendition. The Albanian producer shared on Facebook that he is “so proud to be a part of this project”, and with one listen, it’s clear why. His remix features the song’s interlude in the most melodic way, with an infectious bassline that totally revamps the original.
A more techno-driven take comes to us courtesy of Richie G. The Canadian up-and-comer has already caught the attention of legends like Sasha (who played this cut in a live set back in December) and Nicole Moudaber (who featured him on a guest mix of her MOOD show).
