While Gareth Emery has already released his track ‘U’ with vocalist Bo Bruce, it seems the hype is still building for his upcoming album. Gareth’s studio album, titled ‘Drive,’ is set to release early next month, and in anticipation the Garuda figurehead released the second track, ‘Long Way Home,’ off of the album. Gareth left a small description of the influence behind the track in the sound cloud description of the track which really helps to lend an inside look at its process.
“I came up with the melody for this one towards the end [of a cross country road trip], somewhere in the Mojave Wilderness as we finally made it into California, the setting sun of the West in the distance. A long way from home, and still fairly far from our final destination, but the end was in sight.”
