It seems like a wide variety Steve Aoki’s artists that are signed to Dim Mak Records have been thinking outside the box on many of their new tracks. Be it odd drops, interesting breaks, or some kind of vibe that comes out of left field, there has been a lot of interesting sounds coming off of the label (who just so happened to reach 200k fans on Facebook today!).
The newest of these new sounds comes in the form of the track ‘Imperium,’ by Dim Mak’s Tristan Garner. On this particular track, the lead provides a mellow, dramatic and emotional vibe, particularly in the second break. The drops provide the perfect contrast, with pounding electro bass lines that are sure to rock countless dance floors. We applaud the label’s forward-thinking releases and are excited to see what’s in store in the near future.
