Sochi Olympic Athletes Jam Out to Deorro’s ‘Dechorro’ During Closing Ceremony

While we may remember the opening ceremony for the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs choir’s rendition of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky”, dance music fans can breath a sigh of relief, as the genre made a much more respectable appearance during the closing ceremony. As the athletes were wrapping up the 2014 Sochi Games, Deorro’s smash-hit “Dechorro” could be heard blasting from the stadium speakers. Over 15 million people watched the ceremony in the United States alone, so this is fantastic exposure for the young producer. The track seemed to be a hit with the athletes as well, as it got many of them dancing after 18 long days of competition. Check out the video below and even listen to the full track if you can’t get enough of it!
