Rising upstart producer Santos Torres, also known as Monoverse, is hitting 2014 full stride with release of his inaugural solo E.P. entitled “Ascend”. After creating a buzz back in 2013 with his first collaborative release with Cintra in the “Fristii” E.P., Monoverse steps up to the plate with this solo outing out this week. Comprised of the tracks “Ascend” and “Mobile”, the title track of the E.P. has already received support from Markus Schulz and Kenneth Thomas. “Ascend” is an outer-space inducing feel of a trance release, featuring crawling and climbing synth layers on top of a thumping bridge and powerful chords. The track additionally maintains a laid back beachy vibe while simultaneously urging you to get up and dance. “Mobile” is a lighter bounce-infused track with airy keys, whispy vocal samples, and is completed with a softer kick in comparison to the title track.
