There might be no better word to describe the latest release from Mike Hawkins than ‘refreshing’. After a long year of monotonous & formulaic progressive tracks, “Soldiers”, which was featured on Hardwell On Air in December, delivers that same signature punch, but the core is a distinctive and exciting melody. Those familiar with Hawkins know this is nothing new, as he’s been a part of the new guard of rising electro producers, and his ability to continually recreate harmonies that stick in your head for weeks is astounding.
