Anjunadeep regular Beckwith has put a deep, dark twist on “Echoes”, the single on Avicii’s label LE7ELs produced by Swedish mainstays Henrik B, Niklas Gustavsson and Peter Johansson. The sing-along, progressive house track has been remixed already by Italian duo Merk & Kremont, and even whittled down into a radio-friendly edit. However, Beckwith’s take is unlike any other. Aside from the basic melody and lyrics, the Beckwith remix is so different from the original. This club-ready rendition is better for groovin’, not fist-pumping (thank goodness). The New York producer had a big year in 2013 with Anjunadeep, including the release of the Beckwith 01 essential collection, and spots on the Anjunadeep 05 compilation. We’re looking forward to more.
