Trap and Hardstyle go together like peanut butter and jelly, so it was only a matter of time until Headhunterz latest hit, “Colors”, received a trap-vibe remix. The relationship between the genres isn’t the only chemistry that is evident in this track, as it was produced by fellow countrymen Yellow Claw, who also know a thing or two about Hardstyle. The song keeps the same powerful vocals intact, but takes a huge turn when listeners are hit with more aggressive bass line that is accompanied by some festival-sized sub-bass. Yellow Claw is coming off a huge year that was highlighted by two EP’s, an appearance Tomorrowland and an international hit with their song “Shotgun”. They seem to be heating up very early in this new year, as their huge remix of Quintino and MOTi’s “Dynamite” was already a success.
