The deep house dynamic duo, Dusky, has started the week of on the right foot and released their latest single, “9T8”. Now if that’s not enough exciting enough to get rid of anybody’s case of the Monday’s then I don’t know what is. Since their Stick by This LP, released in 2011, they’ve been raising the bar in the deep house world and have recently been pursuing darker tones with techno-esque styles. They continued that with one of 2013’s best efforts with Careless. With “9T8”, we get the best of both worlds. This track will feel just as at home on the dance floor, with its progressive snares, consistent and clean bass line and filtered vocal sample.
Duksy has done nothing but raise the bar for house and deep house producers and 9T8 is continuing the trend. It’s available to stream above and for purchase at beatport and iTunes.
