As New Years Eve Draws Closer, Decadence Gets Bigger

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this past few months, you’re most likely aware that Denver, Colorado is playing host to one of the most stacked NYE lineups in the country. It’s so stacked, in fact, that it took the #2 spot in our list of NYE events list, trailing only the gigantic Snowglobe event in Lake Tahoe. The most recent additions of trance legend BT and the always entertaining Pierce Fulton have only added fuel to the fire. These two will feel right at home on a bill that features names like 12th Planet, Datsik, Nervo, Dada Life, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, the mighty Tiesto, and the legendary Above & Beyond. Just imagine ringing in the new year with Tony, Jono, and Paavo behind the decks, “Sun & Moon” blaring through the air.

Hot supporting acts now include Bass Physics, Keys N Crates, Ekotek, Odesza, TJR, and much more. It’s a truly ridiculous lineup, and the Denver area is the perfect home for it. Easily one of the liveliest and most robust areas in the country for EDM, the Denver-Boulder area could not be a better place for this magnitude of an event. People are absolutely buzzing. This is the first year that Decadence has been a two day event, and boy are we glad they moved to the extended format. Two nights in a row, the first featuring Tiesto and the second being ran by Above & Beyond and Pretty Lights are festival-worthy headlines indeed; there is simply very few places in the country that are putting on this magnitude of a dance music spectacle.
