After touring all over the US for the latter half of 2013 (and even hitting the UK for the first time!), Colorado-based duo Big Gigantic are gearing up for a new album release by sharing their new single, “Touch the Sky”. Due out in February 2014, The Night Is Young will be Big G’s anticipated follow-up album to 2012’s highly regarded Nocturnal.
Loved by fans for their energetic live performances, Dom and Jeremy also deliver a jazzy punch in the studio. Combining authentic percussion, passionate saxophone solos, and funky beats, “Touch the Sky” flaunts Big Gigantic’s signature instrumental-electronic sound. However, it also has a fresh new twist, with (dare we say) trap-esque rolling snares and delayed, heavy drops. Old and new members of the Big Gigantic Family will sure be happy to hear this single and hopefully some more info about The Night Is Young in the future!
