Russian Police Choir Leaves Daft Punk in Shambles with Brilliant Cover of ‘Get Lucky’

From Russia with love, The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Choir has produced a positively epic cover of Daft Punk’s own summer single.  The group of mostly middle aged white Russian males singing “Get Lucky” sounds like a mixture of a Cold War thriller, a disco dance hall, and the Great Muppet Caper.  The choir jams it out in a haze of what seems to be reluctantly installed colored strobelights and a diminutive but enthusiastic fog machine.  But despite their full uniform, medals, and stern expressions, these virtuosos pull off Daft Punk like champs.
