Floating around as an ID for awhile, this groovy and housey tune has finally been unravelled recently as the work of the young Dutchman, Oliver Heldens. Musical Freedom, the imprint of Tiesto which is well-known for signing progressive and big room festival tracks, surprisingly snatched up this catchy and techno-like ‘Gecko‘. It is nice to see some young artists are finally breaking away from their comfort zones of putting together the same old banger formula and at least attempting to bring back the old school sounds which many of us sorely miss. No confirmed release date for ‘Gecko’ as of now but you can enjoy the 2-minute short teaser below.
