Major Lazer’s Forthcoming Album Will be In Full Throttle By Year-end

In an interview with Australian radio, Jillionaire let everyone know that the new Major Lazer album will likely be finished by the end of the year. Despite an insane touring schedule, and the members’ many projects, they’re looking to slow down by the end of the year and focus on studio time. This will be Major Lazer’s third studio album, following the success of the most recent Free the Universe.

“We’ve had a crazy [touring] schedule,” he said. “I think we’ve been touring for the last 18 months. It’s been crazy, it’s been hectic, it’s been a lot of fun. I think that once this year shuts down we’re gonna pull it back in and do a lot less touring. Right now we’re going in to a bunch of writing sessions for the next album, and hopefully we’re gonna finish that off by the end of the year. It should be out sometime next year.”
