Amsterdam based EDM duo Disfunktion just released their newest track “Kamuwe”. The two members of Disfunktion have been riding their rise to fame and acceptance with support from more well known artists like Tiesto and Hardwell. With releases like this, they hope to move more fully into the mainstream spotlight. “Kamuwe” has a jungle-like feel that is supplemented by the lyrics from a traditional African song “Kamuwe Ekirabo”, sung by a children’s choir in the background. Disfunktion unquestionably brings the unexpected, and that is just what EDM needs right now: someone to push the envelope to something new, something no one has ever heard before.
