Deadmau5 Donates $25,000 To Charity On A Livestream

deadmau5Joel Zimmerman, most commonly known as Deadmau5, is an avid Twitch user. This past weekend he stopped by Twitch user /playbattlegrounds stream and donated a whopping $25,000.

The twitch user was playing PUBG and all the money donated to his stream would go to a charity known as Extra Life. This organization enables gamers to raise money for children who are sick and/or injured. Furthermore, the organization has raised 40 million dollars since 2008. You can often find deadmau5 streaming and raising money for this organization as well.

For those who are not familiar with Twitch, it is a game streaming platform that allows users to stream any game they are playing onto the world. Additionally, one of the most known features about Twitch is that it lets people donate money to other users. Furthermore, deadmau5 has used this platform to stream his music production process from time to time. Joel may be somewhat of a jerk on Twitter, but deep down he is one of the nicest guys.
