Slushii Uploaded His Hot Mix For The PewDiePie Sample Contest
Julian Scanlan, better known by his stage name Slushii, has been traveling around the world and dominating stages of all proportions with his killer tracks as well as making waves with his partners in crime: Marshmello, Jauz, and Ookay. Recently, the American Producer has taken on a new challenge – he tiptoed out of the limelight to take on the controversial video blogger PewDiePie’s, online sample contest.
Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, known online as PewDiePie, has an impressive following via YouTube with 56 million fans. The Internet has a love-hate relationship with the YouTube sensation as he has stirred up several altercations in the past; however, the love for his channel shines through when he launches his weekly contests and videos.
Slushii’s attention was sparked when the Internet star asked his audience to create a track from some of the samples that he had designed. Without any hesitation, the creative producer wowed with his rendition of the song cleverly utilizing the samples. Many up-and-coming artists attempted the challenge such as Tunes You and Goblins from Mars – it’s now up to the honest fans and Internet surfers to decide which piece was best by upvoting their favorite track.
