Mike Kelly (SA) & Sides – Homeshake
Mike Kelly has been taking his end of the world by storm with an underground sound more expected out of the underground clubs of Europe than from his home in South Africa. His sound has been evolving for years, and it seems to have found a home with its ethereal and grooving techno vibes. His latest release, “Homeshake“, is part of a two-track EP released off of Solstice Records, and it definitely has what it takes to get you moving.
A somewhat longer track compared to most other dance music that is coming out these days, these seven minutes truly gives the song a chance to evolves and morph. The foundation lays on the groove, and as that grooves underneath, countless elements drift in and out of the mix in a whirling and drifting pulse.
