Eric Prydz Teases Forthcoming Collaboration with Deadmau5: Mau5-ville

After news was released today that dance music kingpins Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz are schedule to perform a ‘versus’ set on the first day of HARD Day of The Dead 2014, Prydz took to Facebook to post the titillating status “Soon…”, accompanied by the photo seen above, suggesting that Day of the Dead won’t be the only time that these two legends will be collaborating on music together. Prydz’s status suggests that they’ll be extending their alliance into the studio by cleverly renaming his Mouseville label as mau5-ville. From this, we can only assume that their collaborative set at Day of the Dead is only the tip of the iceberg, which is exciting a horde of fans across the world.

HARD Day of the Dead won’t be the first time that the duo will join forces behind the DJ booth. Before Ultra weekend, the two heavyweights linked up for a Mau5trap vs. Pryda party in downtown Miami, with Deadmau5 working his laptop and controllers, while Prydz commanded the CDJs. The two also went back-to-back on the decks again for a SW4 festival after party, this past weekend in London. Both Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz have made a substantial impact on dance music long before the “big EDM boom” swept the globe.Having two massive names like this sharing ideas in the studio together is nothing short of spectacular. It’s a big moment to have these two top notch producers collaborate in the studio, and it is safe to say that music lovers across the world will be waiting in bated breath for their highly anticipated releases…no pressure, guys.
