Askery – NaOH

Swiss producer and sound engineer Shwan Askeri, better known as Askery, made some major headway in the airwaves last year with his remix of Nervo’s “Not Taking This No More” and a premiere of his original mix “Hybrid” on Hardwell On Air. Determined to continue his rise through the EDM pipelines as a producer, Askery is releasing an invigorating new single, “NaOH.” Not sure what the sodium hydroxide reference of the song title means, or if it’s referring to a random chemical compound at all, but “NaOH” propels a hard drive with a motif of syncopated ascensions and strong bass. You may think, oh just another electro house song, but featured in the middle is an intense break of relentless, fierce hand drums and indigenous-sounding vocals that gives the song a unique tribal vibe.
