Anticipation for ‘Awake Tonight’ has been building מאז Afrojack previewed the track during his set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last weekend. The live debut immediately sparked excitement among fans, signaling the return of a creative partnership that helped define an era of crossover dance music.

The reunion follows a notable onstage moment last year, when all three artists appeared together at Ultra, reminding audiences of the chemistry behind ‘Titanium’. Now, that momentum carries into a full studio release that reflects both their shared history and their individual evolution as artists.

According to Afrojack, returning to dance music with Sia and David Guetta feels natural. He noted that while they have explored multiple genres over the years, reconnecting in this space brings a sense of familiarity and creative alignment.

‘Awake Tonight’ blends festival-ready production with strong melodic elements, pairing Afrojack and David Guetta’s signature sound with Sia’s distinctive vocals. The track moves between high-energy builds and emotive moments, aiming to resonate both in live settings and across streaming platforms.

While ‘Titanium’ remains one of the most successful crossover dance records to date, with billions of streams and multi-platinum certifications, ‘Awake Tonight’ is positioned as a forward-looking release rather than a nostalgic follow-up. It reflects the current resurgence of melodic, vocal-driven electronic music while highlighting the continued relevance of all three artists in today’s global dance scene.

Guetta, a 14x Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, has an undeniable musical chemistry with 9x Grammy-nominated powerhouse Sia, creating some of the most iconic tracks in EDM history. With a track record that includes over 8 billion streams and 35 Platinum records, their collaborations are nothing short of extraordinary.

“I’m so happy to be back working with Sia again! She’s one of the greatest voices and songwriters of our generation, and it feels like we’ve had this special connection ever since we wrote ‘Titanium’ back in 2011,” says Guetta.

A Dancefloor Anthem for the Ages

‘Beautiful People’ is yet another showcase of the duo’s ability to craft high-energy, emotionally charged dance music. The track is set to dominate airwaves and festival stages, blending Sia’s soaring vocals with Guetta’s signature high-octane production.

This release follows Guetta’s massive recent success with ‘Forever Young’, featuring Ava Max and Alphaville, which hit #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. It also precedes his highly anticipated residency at LIV Beach at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, set to kick off on March 22.

The Legacy of David Guetta & Sia

Known for his high-energy live sets at festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, and EDC Vegas, Guetta continues to push boundaries with his innovative Future Rave sound.

Sia, on the other hand, is one of the most unique voices in modern pop music. Titanium was released back in 2011 and it quickly became a cult song for electronic dance music lovers. Olivia Rodrigo was just beginning her sky rocketing career when this video was recorded, and she sang the song to perfection. David Guetta, amused by young Olivia’s performance, shared it on an Instagram post. We can tell by the words he chose how proud he is now that it is his turn to remix Olivia’s songs:

“@oliviarodrigo singing my song when she was 10! Now I’m making bootleg remixes of her music to play in my djs set. Life is amazing and I love that we keep inspiring each other”

At only 18 years old, american singer, composer and actress Olivia Rodrigo has already made a name for herself in the music industry. Her debut album Sour (2021) has been a massive success and has even received the Album Of The Year nomination at the Grammy’s.

The future is promising for Olivia Rodrigo. We are sure that plenty of collaborations with EDM artists will come along the way. In the meantime, watch her leaving her audience speechless while singing David Guetta feat. Sia’s Titanium at only 10 of age!

Taking a look at this one, it’s the epitome of their excellent reggae house vibe. What’s more, is Sia’s voice makes the song fire. Está calor aqui! You’ll find yourself bopping your bodies and twirling your spines to the beat. As stated throughout the Internet, this song may make you twerk until you transform into a titan. The melody is chill and Labrinth’s cool male vocals soothe your ears. The trifecta’s production is immaculate in this song. We can definitely see this being played live.

Diplo, Walshy Fire, and Ape Drums released this album last week, with ‘Titans’ as the first track. Several Spanish-influenced tracks plus a French track follow it. David Guetta offered a huge visual and musical show for EDC’s Virtual Rave A Thon. The Frenchman recorded the set from LIV Nightclub, Miami.

The EDM industry is facing one of the worst rivals of its history with the coronavirus pandemic. Many world-famous festivals are offering virtual events to make a more pleasant way back to normality.

The virtual celebration of  EDC Las Vegas, which involved a Virtual Rave-A-Thon, positioned this event as one of the best virtual events during this quarantine.

The lineup of this EDC event was made up of some of the top names out there including artists like Kaskade, SVDDEN DEATH, MALAA, NGHTMRE, Ghastly and David Guetta. Each artist decided their way to perform, offering the virtual crowd a few wonderful scenarios.

Without a doubt, David Guetta is the artist who put the most effort as he rented the prestigious LIV Nightclub in Miami for the occasion. Moreover, David Guetta’s massive set was definitely one of the best shows of the festival. In addition, it’s not the first time that Guetta did something like this.

David started with a variant edition of his massive hit with Sia ‘Titanium’ and kept dropping his all-time hits all night long. The EDM veteran brought us back to one of the best periods of the EDM industry. If you need more information regarding the set, check the tracklist in this link.

The trio of new tracks joins another previously performed song, ‘Flying On My Own,’ meaning fans have had the pleasure of hearing four tracks off the new album. Fans consider Courage to be an English “comeback” for the singer, who dropped the French-language album Encore un soir in 2016.

The inspirational and passionate tune ‘Lying Down’ features a subtle EDM beat brought by none other than David Guetta. With a few electronic waves among the orchestration, his influences are delicate. We’re sure Guetta co-wrote this piece with a remix in mind.

Back in April, Dion stated her inspiration for Courage stemmed from struggles that “we all go through in life,” like loss and illness.

“Life has given me the tools – my family, the way that I grew up, the way that I was raised, the way we all were raised in my family – to find my inner strength in a way,” said Dion. She has experienced grief firsthand after losing her husband and manager Rene Angelil to cancer in 2016.

With 66 stops, the North American portion of her Courage World Tour begins Wednesday in Quebec City and will finish off in Winnipeg in April. Courage drops November 15.
