The Closing Weekend kicks off Friday, October 16 with Marco Carola’s Music On imprint landing in New York for the first time. Carola will be joined by Franky Rizardo, who brings his usual tight, groove-driven approach, and Mason Collective, a pairing known for raw, peak-time sets. Music On has built a reputation across Ibiza and beyond as one of the more consistent brands in the tech-house and techno space, so its New York debut carries some weight for the local scene.

Saturday, October 17 belongs to Black Coffee, who closes out his residency run at Pacha with the deep, immersive sound that’s made him one of the most in-demand names in house music over the past decade. The South African producer has spent the year touring behind his signature blend of Afro-tinged house and melodic depth, and this New York date caps off that series on a high note.

The outdoor season’s official sendoff lands Sunday, October 18, with Marco Carola returning alongside PAWSA to close out what’s been Pacha New York’s first Open Air run. It’s a fitting bookend — Carola opening and closing the weekend that marks the end of the venue’s debut outdoor chapter.

Things don’t slow down much before Halloween. The final outdoor weekend of the season opens Thursday, October 29 with Vintage Culture bringing his ‘Affairs’ concept to Brooklyn, following a sold-out debut edition and a standout residency run in Ibiza this past summer.

Friday, October 30 brings Grammy winner Kaytranada to the Pacha stage, with a set pulling from his genre-blurring catalog of house, funk, R&B and hip-hop — including cuts off his acclaimed album Timeless. Few producers move as fluidly between dancefloor and radio as Kaytranada does, and his New York shows tend to draw a crowd well beyond the usual house music crowd.

Closing out the season on Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31, is German producer Purple Disco Machine, who brings his disco-house sound and deep catalog of global hits to Brooklyn fresh off a 13-night residency at Pacha Ibiza. It’s a high-energy way to shut the lights on Pacha New York’s first outdoor season.

Tickets for both weekends, along with other upcoming shows at Pacha New York and Brooklyn Pacha, are available now through the venue’s official site. From restored motels to a mattress factory

Jain made her name in Miami restoring 1950s motels along Biscayne Boulevard in Miami’s MiMo district, including the Vagabond Hotel, which she and her partners bought for $1.9 million in 2012. The Hialeah site came later. Terra’s David Martin and Michael Simkins bought the factory at 4800 Northwest 37th Avenue in 2018, the city council rezoned it for transit-oriented development, and Jain initially planned to work on the project with Martin. In 2021, the pair sold it to her for $10.5 million.

Instead of taking an acquisition loan, Jain brought in investors, including the owners of Club Space. David Sinopoli, Davide Danese and Jose Coloma Cano, friends of Jain’s, had been hunting for somewhere to throw large-scale events without constant neighborhood complaints.

“They said to me, ‘We need to find a place where we can make noise,'” Jain said. “Clubs have closed on the beaches, Wynwood, next to Space, so it was a really interesting challenge.”

Keeping the bones

Jain kept and reinforced the original walls, preserved the steel structures, hauled debris away by the shipping container and brought in 100 mature trees rescued from tree farms.

“Most people would have walked onto this property and wanted to knock everything down,” she said. “I saw the value in what was there.”

The paperwork mattered as much as the building. Hialeah officials knew Jain from her motel restorations, and she secured a 24-hour liquor license plus approvals that let the site host recurring music festivals without a new public hearing for every event. She told The Real Deal those approvals became as valuable as the property itself, since festivals book talent a year out and promoters won’t commit millions to artists, staging and production without predictable permits.

Insomniac signs on

Factory Town hosted its first pop-up events at the end of 2021, and by March 2022 Get Lost was taking over the entire lot for its 15th anniversary during Miami Music Week. In 2023, Insomniac signed a 10-year lease on the property worth more than $22 million, with two 10-year extension options, according to court documents cited by The Real Deal.

That partnership went to court in 2025, when Insomniac sued Sinopoli, Danese and Coloma Cano, alleging they concealed their ownership interest in the Factory Town real estate while negotiating the lease. The operators countersued, and the two sides reached a confidential settlement on June 30, with Insomniac keeping its commitment to the venue. Jain stayed out of the crossfire.

Five stages of house and techno

Much of the venue’s calendar runs as mini festivals around Miami’s big weeks, from Formula One weekend to Hocus Pocus at Halloween. During Miami Music Week, Factory Town has run five stages a night for five straight nights every year since 2024. The European house and techno brands that fit Miami’s taste keep coming back. elrow has thrown a party at every Miami Music Week there since 2024, and CircoLoco has hosted Factory Basel nights in 2024, 2025 and again this December. Jamie Jones brought Paradise in 2024 and 2026, Marco Carola‘s Music On ran from 2023 through 2025, and Drumcode has held a Miami Music Week slot three years running.

Beyond dance music

The calendar has stretched past dance music, too. FKA twigs brought her Body High live performance there in March with Eartheater. In September, Snow Strippers played with Bleood among the guests on the 19th, and Turnstile followed the next night with Mall Grab, Cold World and Collateral. III Points presented the FKA twigs and Snow Strippers shows, and its III Joints offshoot has taken over the grounds each April for the last two years, with Helado Negro on the 2025 bill.

What’s next

This year, for the first time, Factory Town hosted events prior to Hocus Pocus, featuring Sara Landry, Eli Brown, Fisher, Armin van Buuren and more. Later this year, Factory Basel runs December 2 to 6 during Art Basel, with Chris Lake, Solomun, PAWSA and The Martinez Brothers leading nearly 20 label and artist stage programs.

Hialeah’s slogan is “La Ciudad que Progresa,” the City of Progress. The officials who wanted Jain to bring a preservation project there ended up with a factory where the line forms before sunset and the dancing goes past dawn.

The lead-up to closing week offered a preview of what the club does best. Adriatique showed up at Mau P’s Baddest Behaviour as WhoMadeWho played a hybrid DJ set, while Shimza returned to the TARAKA booth alongside GORDO. Those overlaps between resident nights have become something of a signature for Pacha, with artists from one party regularly popping up at another across the same weekend.

GORDO opened the closing run on September 29 with the final TARAKA of the season, joined by Roger Sanchez, Gala and Abril Love. The next night, Mau P brought Baddest Behaviour back for another round with Jimi Jules, HAAi and Baggi rounding out the bill.

Thursday, October 1 turned into one of the busiest nights of the week. An extra Music On date landed at Pacha ICONS, housed at Destino Five Ibiza, with Marco Carola returning for one more appearance after a summer spent largely on open-air stages. He was joined by Franky Rizardo, Ilario Alicante, and Mason Collective & Da Vid. That same night, back at Pacha Ibiza, Purple Disco Machine closed out Pure Pacha with support from Gerd Janson, Busy P, Breakbot and David Bay.

Marco Carola’s Music On residency continues on Friday, October 2, with Adriatique, Mita Gami and II Faces on the lineup. The same night, over at Cova Santa, WooMooN will wrap its 2026 season with a lineup built around Jan Blomqvist, Christian Loeffler, Deer Jade, Super Flu, Cris 44, Igor Marijuan, Isadora and Rayco Santos — a fitting bow for a party known for leaning into live instrumentation and visual theatrics as much as DJ sets.

The closing run kept going into the weekend. Robin Schulz closed out his Saturday residency on October 3 with Oliver Heldens, LOVRA and Alle Farben, while Solomun closed Solomun+1 on October 4 with an all-night-long set — a format he’s leaned on for years to close out the Sunday slot he’s held at Pacha since relaunching the party.

Sonny Fodera and Fatboy Slim were also on the week’s broader closing docket, adding to a stretch that effectively served as a preview of how the rest of Ibiza’s season will wind down through October.

The October 18 party runs from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, giving Brooklyn one last extended outdoor night before the temperatures drop. It’s a fitting bookend to a season that introduced New York to Pacha’s open-air format for the first time.

What Comes Next for Pacha New York

The closing party is actually part of a broader closing weekend running October 16 through 18. After that stretch, the venue isn’t done for the year — it’s set to reopen for a three-night Halloween Weekend run before shifting operations indoors. That indoor version, Brooklyn Pacha, will serve as the brand’s year-round home through the colder months and the next phase of its New York presence.

Pacha has been operating for more than five decades at this point, building a reputation across its global outposts for artist-driven programming and a dancefloor-first approach that doesn’t lean heavily on production spectacle. The Brooklyn chapter, still in its first year, has followed that same formula while tapping into New York’s own dance music history.

Between now and the October closing party, Pacha New York has a packed run of dates on the books, including ZHU with Wax Motif and tobehonest on September 11, Diplo on September 12, Sonny Fodera with Armand Van Helden and LOVRA on September 25, BLOND:ISH on September 26, and a Flower Power night with Nic Fanciulli and Roger Sanchez on September 27. October also brings sets from SOFI TUKKER, Jamie Jones, and 50 Cent ahead of the Carola and PAWSA closer.

The event runs November 20-22 in the Khoroum Valley, with capacity expanded to 20,000 daily visitors. Zamna started life in Tulum, Mexico, and has since built a reputation for parking its stages in unusual natural settings. This will be the brand’s second run in Sharm El Sheikh following its 2025 debut.

Also joining the bill: Brina Knauss, Asal b2b Sona, Zamna Sound System, and a group of regional acts including Dish Dash, La Familia, Baz and Haz, Mballa and Minds of Lust. Korolova, Mind Against and MRAK remain on the lineup from the initial announcement, with more names still to be revealed.

One name worth flagging on this bill is Elvis Guetta, son of David Guetta, who’s making his Egypt debut at the festival. Elvis has spent the past year building out his own catalog of house and disco sets across Ibiza, Paris and London, and this marks his first appearance in the region.

A Desert Setting Built for Techno

Khoroum Valley sits about fifteen minutes from Sharm El Sheikh’s city center and airport, tucked into the mountains of South Sinai. The venue centers on a granite amphitheater, while organizers plan expanded lighting and stage production for this edition. After dark, the surrounding rock formations will drive much of the visual experience. Shuttle transfers will run from partner hotels throughout the city, so anyone staying in Sharm shouldn’t have trouble getting to the site.

Carola brings his usual driving, groove-heavy techno to the lineup, while CamelPhat’s melodic house sound and Gordo’s bassier, more aggressive techno give the bill some range at the top. Major League DJZ, the South African duo known for their Afro-house sets, add another layer to what’s already a genre-spanning lineup between the headliners and regional support acts.

General admission includes full three-day access to the valley, with VIP booths and tables available on request. The event is 18 and over, and photo ID will be required at the gate. Khoroum Valley also operates under a Leave-No-Trace policy given its location within a protected desert ecosystem.
