Tchami‘s very own Confession label continues to impress with it’s fourth installation of the ‘Alchemy’ series. The compilation offers 7 dark house tracks, each unique in their own sense. As a common theme on ‘Alchemy IV,‘ the tracks are infectiously moving, gritty, and dark. Through continuous quality releases and the ‘Alchemy’ series, the label does not disappoint, and manages to showcase some of the best house music has to offer.

The compilation kicks off with the groovy collaboration by Fulbset & PEACE MAKER!‘s ‘My Fault.’ Following the track, the ominous ‘D.E.A’ by Rollerz & Cave Studio takes over, and includes an unexpected hip-hop cross-over giving more life to the track. As the track concludes, Asdek’s ‘Let Me Tell You’ starts to play with a calm groove and spacious atmosphere. The track then catapults itself into an infectious house banger. Furthermore, Gosha comes through with his second official release ‘La Mour,’ a heavy, deep, and dark track with a vicious bassline. In Dustycloud‘s ‘Reckless,’ the punchy percussive elements shine through with the crunchy bass. In addition, Rique follows through with maintaining the energy from ‘Reckless’ with his own ‘When I go.’ Finally, ToMix & JC Ordonez close out the compilation with their catchy collaboration, ‘My Garage.’

The Soundcloud playlist for the compilation can be found bellow!

Jace Mek & ASDEK – Loose Mind

Our ears are once again graced by distinctively eccentric sound selections from the one and only Jace Mek. The young house producer has been on fire ever since he first popped up on Mad Decent’s Good Enuff label and Uprise Music. Earlier this year he even joined Tchami on his Prophecy Tour and made the cut for Confession’s Alchemy EP.

Fast forward to the end of 2017 and he just delivered a monstrous collaboration with another one of our favorites, French duo ASDEK. Melding a sparse arrangement with impeccable design and haunting vocals, “Loose Mind” takes listeners on a sonic journey not unlike something you might hear from the house pedigrees of Confession. The new single lurches from the gates with an unnerving beat, coupled with squirreling embellishments that give every sense of being held in an alien laboratory. Have a listen below and dive into the deep end of house music.

ASDEK – Shivers EP

House heads and creatures of the night around the globe rejoice. We’ve got a fire new EP just for you. Shivers comes to us via eclectic New York city based record label Uprise Music, whom has long supported the Parisian duo ASDEK with previous releases ‘Never Stop’ and ‘Turn It Up’. Their new two track project is deep, dark, and delightful.

‘Shivers’ could have been a single on it’s own, but we’re glad we got the b-side with it because it’s hardly a b-side. Before we get to that we have the title track, a brooding hypnotic treat that lives up to its name. Just check your skin after listening. Secondly we have ‘Midnight’. This tune is equally is dark as the previous, but has a certain mystifying quality to it that pulls you in as its bass booms against your ear drum. Have a listen below and grab your own copy for free!

ASDEK – Never Stop

French duo ASDEK continue to stray away from the conventional House movement going on in electronic music with their latest bass-heavy House cut, out today on Uprise Music. Last seen on the imprint with their crowd favorite track “Turn It Up” over a year ago, they finally make their return with “Never Stop.” Looping a hypnotizing vocal sample throughout the track, slicing drum samples and wobbly synths combined with cutthroat beats in the drop, they whipped up quite the stomper. Keep a close eye on the French duo as they continue to push the sounds of UK Garage, Bassline, Grime and Bass House to the masses. Listen and download below.
