Who knew that being kind could pay your bills? Marshmello, Live Nation, and Adobe are teaming up to give away $10,000 and additional perks to one lucky fan. To participate in the “Be Kind” challenge, create a short video that demonstrates how you’re bringing kindness to the world. Fans must utilize Adobe’s editing tools.

“Be Kind” related graphics and artwork are also provided by Adobe for free. Of course, the soundtrack of the video will be Marshmello’s new single, ‘Be Kind’.

The grand prize includes $10,000 USD, inclusion in the official “Be Kind” video, a life-size signed Marshmello helmet, virtual meet and greet with Marshmello for you and a friend, and Adobe Creative Cloud subscription for one year.

Marshmello states,

“I’m excited to team up with Adobe and Live Nation on a challenge to give fans the opportunity to make their own video using my latest single ‘Be Kind’ to show how they’re bringing kindness to the world.”

The challenge will run for roughly a month until June 3, 2020. However, this is merely one of the opportunities that Adobe and Live Nation have in store for the year as part of the Adobe Creativity Tour. The tour aims to give fans a chance to shine. It bridges music artists with their fans through creative expression.

Details of the challenge can be found here.

So far, these are the events that have been cancelled:

AJA Video Systems announced in a statement this week it would not participate in the annual NAB convention. The convention is being held April 19 through April 22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The NXT Global Summit, which focuses on emerging trends in technology and media (July 14-15) has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

Engineering company Aruba Networks said it will not host its upcoming Atmosphere conference (Mar 23-27) in person, but rather via video.

Adobe will not be hosting the Adobe Summit (Mar 29-Apr 2). The summit will be held online as a digital experience.

The Atlassian Summit (Apr 1-2) has been cancelled and will be held remotely instead.

Google cancelled an internal conference that was to take place in March. “In light of the evolving Coronavirus situation we made the decision to cancel an internal event that would have brought thousands of employees together from across two continents,” the spokesman said.

Businesses and events in Las Vegas have found workarounds to still hold their event. However, it’ll be much harder for music events to do the same.
