Over recent years, electronic duo Mathame established themselves as one of the most promising rising acts. Forming in 2013, brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli have progressively become an integral part of the underground electronic scene. First releasing on Vaal‘s ‘Bastaard‘ label in 2015.

Their activity arguably culminated in its peak through a release on the Tale Of Us imprint, Afterlife, in 2018. That featured tracks such ‘Nothing Around Us‘ and ‘Fade Into You‘. They recently presented ‘For Every Forever‘, cementing the reason people follow in their footsteps, and why critics praise them.

Now they present their BBC Radio 1 Essential mix. Previously, we had mixes from artists such as Sub Focus and Duke Dumont. As the host of this iconic show, Pete Tong welcomes one of the most outstanding duos of this genre.
