Unique Cercle x SXM Festival Set Featuring BLOND:ISH Among Latest Coronavirus Postponements

And just like that, the novel coronavirus hurts yet another highly-anticipated event. This time, its victim is BLOND:ISH, who is forced to postpone what would have been a very unique set hosted by Cercle and SXM Festival at Rockland Estate, the beautiful terrace at St Maarten‘s eco-friendly adventure park Rainforest Adventures. The event was scheduled to take place on March 9 at 3pm local time.

BLOND:ISH originally explained via an Instagram comment that the event had been canceled since “the Cercle guys were in Japan a week ago and the tourism board said it’s too risky to let them in cause their island is small.” Indeed, Cercle had invited ZHU to perform a set at Hakuba Mountain Harbor just last week.

Newest Update

However, in the latest update, it seems as though the team have worked to make it a postponement instead. In BLOND:ISH’s latest Instagram post, she’s even asking for suggestions on where the set should take place!

Typical of Cercle events, the set was to be broadcasted live on Cercle’s Facebook page, transporting you to the stunning location with their impressive cameras and drones. Driss Skali and Phil Dark were also scheduled to perform the warm-up and closing-out sets respectively.

The innovative French livestream media company still has a few events lined up, notably its second festival in May 2020. Let’s hope that the fun-despising COVID-19 will be long gone by then.
