FreeFall x M3RC – The Underground (Original Mix)

The Audiophile collective of sublabels (Live, Deep and XXL) made a huge splash in 2015, with no signs of stopping in the early days of 2016. Coming off their second installment of the Doble XX Grande series, which features 10 original tunes, Audiophile has curated an eclectic group of tracks for the follow up to Doble XX Grande Vol. 1.

One of the compositions chosen for the compilation is Freefall and M3RC’s “The Underground” in which they join forces for a bass house jacker. Freefall is no stranger to the Audiophile family, releasing several records that have 20K or higher on their playcounts. M3RC, a San Francisco resident with a similar sound, has been publishing music for over a year with some encouraging results as well.

“The Underground” starts out of the gates with a sly and high pitched melody that grabs the listeners attention with a veracious hook that carries beautifully into the next measure. Since this is a bass house tune, it wouldn’t be complete without a few heavy wobbles and breakdowns. You won’t be disappointed when you hear them yourselfs. Go snag this and the rest of the compilation!
