“Alison Wonderland returns to where she belongs,” declared Zouk Nightclub in an Instagram post unveiling the residency. “We’re thrilled to announce her 2025 residency at Zouk Group Las Vegas, kicking off with her first show on Thursday, March 20!”

The residency currently features three additional dates: Wednesday, May 14, Friday, June 20, and Thursday, September 18.

Alison Wonderland (real name Alexandra Sholler) began her musical journey playing cello with the Sydney Youth Orchestra and bass guitar in local bands before turning to dance music. Her career took off with her debut single, “Get Ready,” in 2013, and she has since released albums such as Run (2015), Awake (2018), and Loner (2022), largely within the bass music genre.

Zouk Nightclub, located in Resorts World and an extension of the iconic Singapore venue established in 1991, has held special significance for Sholler even before this residency. After marrying Ti West at Las Vegas’ Little White Wedding Chapel, the couple hosted their after-party at Zouk.

‘The Motto‘ producer shared a 23-second preview of ‘Hot In It’ on Friday. It’s obvious that it has all the elements to be his next radio hit. The chorus features Charli XCX’s singing, “Tonight I’m gon’ be rockin’ it, droppin’ it, shake my ass, no stoppin’ it, I look hot in it, hot in it, I look hot in it.” The underlying house beat is infectious. It isn’t the first taste of the track that fans have been treated to. In late May, Charli XCX teased the collab in a TikTok video. The pop star lip-synched to the chorus as she was getting ready for a Cannes Film Festival gala. She went from wearing a T-shirt to getting her hair and makeup done to completing her full look. “Hot innut ?” the singer wrote in the caption.

Tiësto on Friday made it clear that ‘Hot In It’ is meant to be a summer anthem. “It’s going to be a HOT IN IT Summer !!!” he wrote.

Tiësto previously remixed Charli XCX’s 2015 song ‘Break The Rules‘, so this is not their first time working together.

Summer Tour Dates

Tiësto has also revealed his global summer live dates in Las Vegas. ‘The Business‘ producer is playing AYU dayclub on five Saturdays: the July 2 ‘Hot In It’ release party, July 16, August 6, August 27 and September 3. In addition, he is spinning at Zouk Nightclub on Saturdays July 30, August 13, August 20, September 10 and September 17, and Friday September 23.

This year, party-goers can expect a whole new list of venues to get into the EDC spirit. This includes brand-new nightclubs and dayclubs, such as Zouk, Ayu, Élia Beach Club, and more.

EDC Week will continue its annual tradition from October 20 – 26. Renowned artists, such as John Summit, Noizu, Deadmau5, and Tiesto, will be taking over the Las Vegas strip at the city’s top nightclubs. Therefore, festival attendees can catch their favorite artists perform outside the EDC festival grounds.

As DJ Fadi of the trance duo performed at Zouk Nightclub in Singapore as they have done countless times before, club management told them to play B2B with a club VIP who happened to be the Malaysian Prime Minister’s son. When they refused this request, club management told them to end their set so that Norasham Najib could take over the decks completely. Video from the incident spread quickly and forced statements from Zouk as well as Aly & Fila themselves. Zouk chalked it up to a misunderstanding, which did little to quell concerns levied their way. It seems Aly & Fila will not be returning to Zouk anytime soon. Do you think VIPs feel too entitled in our scene?

The start of a great night that didn’t end so well:

First of all Zouk Singapore has been one of my favorite clubs in the world, so sad that my last time playing there ended this way. Before you go through my statement plz remember that I can’t blame Zouk in general as there are a lot of great people working there from audio engineer to VJs etc…. 
I will make it really easy and clear with a list of facts:
1-my contracted set time was 1:30 – 3:30
2-Zouk’s new owner was hosting a “VIP” guest (the Malaysian PM son)
3-I arrived at Zouk at 1:00 am and had a quick interview.
4-Byden who works for Zouk and who takes care of the artists and the night in general told me I can play until the end. I can finish 4:15 and then play an extra 15 minutes more.
5-I went to the DJ booth they introduced me to the the “VIP Guest” and the new owner of Zouk.
6-started my set at 1:40
7-at 3:30 Byden came to me and asked me if I m willing to play back 2 back with that “VIP” guest and my answer was simple:”no way”
8-I continued playing then 15 mins after Byden came to me and he told me that I will have to stop as the new owner wants the “VIP guest” to play.

It’s always exciting to hear an old favorite brought back to life by a new remix. In this case, Dutch producer Kill The Buzz has put a modern, big-room spin on 2011’s “We’re Not Alone” by Russian duo Matisse & Sadko. Originally released on Zouk/Armada, the anthem featured the vocals of British singer Ollie James and captured the sound of progressive, ultra-uplifting house that was all the rage a few years back. Now Kill The Buzz’s take really represents the sounds house fans are loving now – a slight hardstyle twist and bigger-than-ever build-ups and drops.

Previewed in a recent radio episode of Hardwell On Air, this rendition is now available on Beatport as part of the 10 Years Armada anniversary remix album, “a reminder of not only the sterling past, but also the bright future of the label.”
