German electronic music legend ATB made a significant announcement earlier in the year: his upcoming studio album will be his last. With an incredible career that includes a total of 10 studio albums and over 55 gold and platinum awards in numerous countries, ATB has always gone the extra yard with his studio albums, routinely releasing double album projects that feature a disc aimed for the dancefloor and a separate disc curated for the comedown, crafted with beautiful soundscapes.

However, this does not mark the end of his career. ATB will continue to create new music and perform live shows worldwide. ATB’s final album is expected to be a fitting closing story to a remarkable time in the industry. In the past, he released 10 studio albums and numerous hit singles, including ‘9pm (Till I Come)’,” ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Ecstasy’, ‘Let U Go’, ‘What About Us’, and ‘When It Ends It Starts Again’.

To celebrate this milestone, ATB is embarking on the ‘Don’t Stop’ US Tour PT.2. This tour will feature a mix of classic hits and new music from his upcoming album. Fans can catch ATB performing in cities like Minneapolis, Chicago, Austin, Sunnyvale, Costa Mesa, and Orlando for their local EDC.

Check the full schedule below!

ATB’s decision to release his final album comes after careful consideration. He wants to ensure that he leaves a lasting legacy in the electronic music industry. While this album marks the end of one chapter, it also signifies the beginning of a new era for ATB.

Yes, you read that right. Yesterday, Armin van Buuren‘s legendary radioshow A State Of Trance celebrated ADE their own way — with a ten-hour episode. The Armada guys invited an incredible roster which included acts such as Ferry Corsten, SUPERSTRINGS, Miss Monique, Maddix, and more. Between the sets, they accidentally leaked the news.

Armin had Pasquale Rotella — Insomniac CEO — over to have a chat, mostly because Insomniac and ASOT sealed a partnership for the former to take over production for next year’s ASOT Rotterdam weekender festival. But in the middle of the conversation, the news timidly arose: ASOT’s next stop appears to be the US. Don’t forget that ASOT does come to Miami each March for Ultra Music Festival, but the scale of the event has shrunk over the years. Now ASOT wants to do a full-on arena level show in the US again.

During the airing, Armin told Pasquale “This is off the record, but my dream is to do what we do in the Netherlands but in your home country, so I think we should do that. The future is bright for A State of Trance and this is gonna be such an epic moment when we work together for the first time in February“. To what then Rotella mumbled the magic words, “What better place to leak it — you kinda just leaked it — I couldn’t be more excited about (…), in the States, there needs to be an epic, massive, perfectly produced ASOT“.

Remember that electrifying Jyoty Rinse FM set from last year? The one that sent shockwaves through the EDM world? “Push” was BORN there, a primal scream for the dance floor that’s been tearing up DJ sets ever since.

‘Push’

Skrillex and Hamdi, the undisputed masters of floor-filling frenzy, have woven their magic once again. Imagine a soundscape where minimalist elements intertwine in a hypnotic dance, building tension and release with every beat. This, my friends, is the irresistible call from ‘Push’.

TAICHU, a lyrical sorceress, weaves her playful verses through the sonic tapestry. Her voice soars above the thunderous bassline, shimmering like ethereal synth chords against the backdrop of infectious percussion. It’s the perfect storm of sound, a euphoric journey that captures the chaotic thrill of a night you’ll never forget. The icing on the cake is the mini pause from the wubbleness of the track into a chill deep bridge, just to bring it back into that nasty bass. The results are in, you will throw your back out this summer.

“Push” isn’t just a song; it’s a sonic invitation. An invitation to lose yourself in the rhythm, to surrender to the pulsating energy, and to dance until the break of dawn. Get ready to hit repeat, because Skrillex, Hamdi, and TAICHU have delivered a dance floor masterpiece that will have you pushing your limits and soaring to new heights of sonic bliss!

The unpredictability of his releases and the sheer innovation embedded in his music reaffirm that Skrillex’s creative journey is far from reaching its conclusion. With each new endeavor, Skrillex continues to shape and elevate the very fabric of contemporary music. Skrillex, a name synonymous with Grammy excellence and musical innovation, propels the industry forward with every surprising twist in his sonic narrative. (source)

Hamdi

Hamdi is an exciting prospect for any label to get their hands on. Hamdi’s signature blend of Dubstep, UKG and Grime has earned him support from some of the biggest artists in the world. The roster includes Skrillex, Knife Party, Fred Again.., Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson. Closer to home, Hamdi has consistently received support from the UK underground scene’s most prestigious acts. This include DJ EZ, Skream, Sherelle and Mala. His track ‘Skanka‘ has taken the world by storm and was arguably one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of 2022. Consequently, DJ Mag wrote that ‘Skanka’ has already proven its staying power and firmly cemented its place as a modern classic.’ (source)

“Loved working on this track. It came to me in a really turbulent time of my life and was super therapeutic to write. Working with CloZee was really easy and she’s super talented so the track fell together really naturally.”

CloZee kicks off ‘Us’ with a melancholic feeling in which the vocals sit in the middle of the music in a sultry manner. As the soundscape expands, more synths are introduced building the track further. Moreover, the structure keeps the track interesting creating emphasis on many individual parts within. This actually creates a sense of appreciation toward sounds and builds that might otherwise play as fillers. Overall, ‘Us’ resonates with its catchy, melancholic, yet vibrant nature.

For any more updates, merchandise, and to pre-order the album, refer to the artist’s website here. Finally, Listen to CloZee’s ‘Us’ featuring The Kite String Tangle, and the previously released singles off Neon Jungle via Odyzey Music below!

Doctor P & Shapes – Cold Individual

Doctor P and producers Shapes released a collaboration labeled ‘Cold Individual’. This new release begins slowly, but quickly morphs into a high BPM house tone. Additionally, the dance house influence is courtesy of the UK-based bass music producers Shapes. After the buildup comes to a crescendo, Doctor P’s unique and unmistakable sound is immediately recognizable from the first drop. Doctor P’s drop sets the atmosphere of the song, meanwhile Shapes appears to direct the flow of the song.

After all, legend says that the song was named ironically seeing as once the beat hits, it is quite impossible to be a ‘Cold Individual’. Although you must investigate the truth for yourself.

The link is included below for those intrigued by the fusion of these stellar producers.

Reddit is still a little foreign for some users. With that said, here is a quick description, according to Wikipedia, to give the unfamiliar readers a quick glimpse into the great site – it’s “an American social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website”.

The platform has recently undergone a momentous re-design which included small, but important updates, such as a side panel, a banner image, and several different ways of viewing a subreddit. Although users aren’t entirely pleased with the overall fresh design, the statistics speak for themselves.

Google is still ranked as the most visited site, followed by YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, and Amazon locking down the top five choice picks. Jumping into even more interesting facts, on average, Reddit users will spend 15 minutes and 10 seconds of their days cruising the site, resulting in a figure substantially higher than its competitors.

Check Out The Competitors Daily Stats Below:

• YouTube: 8 minutes 31 seconds
• Facebook: 10 minutes 50 seconds
• Amazon: 7 minutes 37 seconds

Facebook seems to be the true losers in this situation. Their audience is ageing and shifting to other platforms, not to mention, they lost a good amount of their users due to the Cambridge Analytical scandal.

Like every situation, there are always positives and negatives. Facebook still owns WhatsApp and Instagram, so you know that Mark Zuckerberg isn’t dwelling on these stats too much.

The Reddit fam is one that isn’t easily pleased, however with the increased traffic, one can assume that bigger and better things are coming.

Paul van Dyk Announces 14 Date US Tour

All-time legendary trance DJ, Paul van Dyk, has just announced the second half of his ‘From Then On‘ tour revealing 14 dates which stretch across the US to cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and many more.

His 8th studio album, ‘From Then On’, is considered Paul van Dyk’s most personal project. Instilling stellar emotions of euphoria and dreamstate that has taken van Dyk’s career through an eternal ceiling of trance glory.

Resilient just like his music, the Grammy nominated German luminary has rejuvenated his health following his 2016 touring incident and has re-surged back to a frenzied international touring schedule. Jennifer Lopez – Us

Back in March of 2017, the pop star diva Jennifer Lopez was in the studio with Skrillex showing fans their upcoming collab. As promised, the mega-hit artists are excited to drop their latest single ‘Us’. While fans waited for its release, J.LO performed the track at Urban Music Festival “Calibash” in Los Angeles, California earlier this year. Amazon is known for providing the all-encompassing, never-ending, one-stop shopping trips of America. Need something? Amazon is probably the first place you look.

Now, to add to their already massive inventory, the online retailer has announced they are looking to expand their ticket service that, until now, has only been available in the U.K. Launched just last year, Amazon Tickets has sold tickets to a multitude of shows thus far, from an Elton John concert to a Wicked performance.

The company is looking to “position Amazon Tickets as the world’s premier destination for purchasing tickets” in Asia, Europe, and the U.S, according to recent job postings. A different posting cited Amazon was looking for new employees to “to develop [their] international expansion strategy for Europe and Asia.” They have also reportedly hired employees in their Seattle office to work toward the project.

All signs point to tickets.

Prime Tickets might also soon exist for those with a Prime membership, but details about that have yet to be announced.

One post in particular addressed the mission of Amazon tickets:

“Our vision goes beyond just selling tickets as we aim to disrupt the entire live entertainment experience, including what happens before, during and after the show,” another posting says. “The ticketing business is ripe for innovation and improvement, as much of the industry has not fundamentally changed since the 1970s.”

We’ll just have to wait and see what Ticketmaster thinks about this.

Last year, Kaskade put out his latest album Automatic. And from start to finish, it was amazing. There were some definite stand out tracks and one of them was his collaboration with CID titled, “Us”.

Just this week CID took to Facebook to announce yet another collaboration between the two titled, “Sweet Memories”. The Live video was primarily a close up of CID shouting out fans that had joined the event. Luckily, there were some highlights. Around the 9:55 mark, at the request of fans, CID previews a bit of the collaboration. The preview gives us a glimpse of the vocals and the infectiously rhythmic beat of the track. The full version will be released at an official release party at Union in Los Angeles next Friday, August 26th. Stay tuned for that, but until then check out the announcement and preview of the fire track below.
