Mat Zo‘s imprint, MAD ZOO, brought together a number of artists for their second compilation, ‘This is MAD TOO‘. On it, they featured some names we’re familiar with, and a fresh few bringing their sounds aboard.

With that in mind, it includes previously released tracks such as Mat Zo’s ‘Blessed Be Thy Name‘ alongside ‘Red Puma‘ by Gladez and BRUTE. On the other end, you’ll find music by the likes of Carpainter, Kraysh, Tsuruda, Acrillics, Anti.Negative, Chef Boyarbeatz.

Throughout, the compilation mainly focuses on drum & bass, with a tinge of hard hitting bass tracks. Overall, there’s an undoubted level of creativity as the label continues to elevate unique artists. The emphasis on consistently evolving designs and sounds comes off obvious in a pleasant manner. In consideration, there is no doubt that MAD ZOO will soon be at the fore-front of explorative listening.

Moreover, in celebration of ‘This is MAD TOO’, the label took over Bass Waffles for a free show on January 26. We hope to hear about more label showcases to see the full range of what MAD ZOO has to offer.

Finally, listen to MAD ZOO’s stacked ‘This is MAD TOO’ compilation below!

For the tenth edition, Bass Center will be using the entirety of the coliseum to make the event more encompassing and participation heavy. The Haven will be an area geared towards relaxation from the madness with ambient music, yoga, massage areas and more. The Lot will be a first for the event, designed to be an area where the true talents of the attendees can be showcased in a renegade setting. “Bring your arts, your crafts, your freak flag, your tailgating vibes, and participate fully.”

Knowing how quickly this event will sell out because of the massive following of Bassnectar and sheer talent of the artists, the team has decided to hold a presale raffle for tickets. You can enter the drawing beginning tomorrow, March 8th, through March 13th and winners will be selected at random, giving everyone a fair chance to experience this massive event.

General on sale tickets will be available March 17th, and that is the one you’re going to want to set your alarms for.

Alison Wonderland – Messiah (Remixes)

Admittedly, I have a crush on Alison Wonderland. It’s more than puppy love, it’s definitely full grown. Sappy romance aside, the Australian producer has released some insanely good tracks that have her making waves in the dance community on a global scale. Her enthusiasm on stage matches her fire tracks and makes seeing her live a must. A few months ago, she released ‘Messiah’, another emotional track that amped up her catalogue. Now, she’s teamed up with Team Supreme to give other producers a shot at remixing the single. The result? 27 remixes from 27 producers compiled into one mix.

Give this mix a listen and you’ll forget that it’s the same song. Seriously. The remixes each bring their own heat to the original track and they’re compiled in a way that makes the 28-minutes fly by. Remixes were provided by AWE, Jupe, Tsuruda, Slumberjack, and a variety of other producers both up and coming and established. That last ‘Messiah’ remix seems mysterious, but one listen to the vocals and it’s instantly recognizable as Lido. Which one is your favorite? Check out the stream below as Alison Wonderland’s tunes continue to take you down the rabbit hole.
