The wait is over for one of dance music’s most bootlegged festival IDs. Odd Mob and FAST BOY have officially released their collaboration ‘Super High‘, out now via October Records. The track had been circulating in rip form since surfacing in mainstage sets earlier this year, turning it into one of those tracks fans could hear but not actually stream.

The release lands right as Odd Mob kicks off his biggest headline run around Australia to date. The tour opens at Melbourne’s Timber Yard on Saturday, September 19, before stops in Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide, wrapping up at Sydney’s Roundhouse on Saturday, October 10.

Odd Mob, the Brisbane-born producer known for hopping between club-focused house and more pop-leaning crossover work, has spent the better part of a year teasing ‘Super High’ in festival sets without confirming what it actually was. 1001Tracklists helped fuel the hunt, flagging the ID during his Tomorrowland main stage set as tastemakers tried to piece together who was behind it.

The final version blends Odd Mob’s club-oriented production with FAST BOY’s pop instincts, landing somewhere between a straightforward house cut and a radio-ready hook. Odd Mob, real name Harry Hope, described the record as an attempt to sit between pop and EDM. “This song feels like endless summer,” he said. “It makes you wanna have a few cheeky bevs, watch the sunset and hang out with your mates. I’ve been wanting to do something that rides the line of pop and EDM for a minute and I’m stoked with how this one turned out!“

FAST BOY, the German brother duo made up of Felix and Lucas Hain, have built a reputation as one of Europe’s more reliable hitmaking outfits, with over a billion streams to their name as producers, songwriters and vocalists. Their breakout came via ‘Bad Memories’ alongside MEDUZA, which topped airplay charts in seven countries. Since then they’ve worked with Tiesto, David Guetta, Topic and Robin Schulz, and remain fixtures at festivals including Tomorrowland and Parookaville.

For Odd Mob, ‘Super High’ caps a stretch of momentum that’s been building since 2025, a year that included a sold-out headline show at The Shrine in Los Angeles and a collaboration with Tiesto that became the most-played dance record on U.S. radio, passing 40 million streams within months. He also played Coachella alongside Tiesto, plus Shambhala, EDC, Beyond Wonderland, Space Miami and multiple Elrow dates, on top of a Wynn Las Vegas residency. John Summit tapped him as direct support on his sold-out Australian tour, and Odd Mob followed that with his own sellout run through Sydney’s Metro Theatre, Brisbane’s Tivoli and Princess Theatre, and Melbourne’s Max Watts. His remix of Sean Paul’s ‘Get Busy’ has since racked up a quarter of a billion streams on its own.

This year alone has kept that pace going, with a Tomorrowland main stage set in Belgium plus appearances at Osheaga in Quebec and Outside Lands in San Francisco. The Australian tour marks his return home after a run that’s kept him on rotation across the U.S., Asia, Europe and the U.K.

Two powerful forces in tech house: Brisbane’s Odd Mob and Los Angeles’ OMNOM reunite under their collaborative alias, HYPERBEAM, with an impactful and long-awaited single.
‘Take You There’ opens with a dark house groove, evoking its collaborators club-driven sound design via droning synths and a satisfyingly gritty bass line. The vocal guides listeners through the track, rhythmically repeating “I wanna take you there… you can come with me,” throughout each buildup. The drops possess an alien nature, utilizing pulses and echoes to create an air of mystery for dance-obsessed audiences. With each release, HYPERBEAM propel their genre forward, and ‘Take You There’ is no exception.

‘Can’t Say Nah’ opens with a satisfying drum pattern, sampled dog barks and Benni Ola’s vocals detailing a toxic relationship too good to quit. The drop showcases Odd Mob’s and Walker & Royce’s technical capabilities with clean percussion, whirs, laser pews, and scratching textures coming together to form irresistibly danceable moments. The titular lyric repeats throughout the song, leading to a natural and easy to learn refrain for live audiences. Energy builds continuously until it’s blissfully unleashed a second time shortly before the track’s conclusion.

First premiered in spring of last year, ‘Can’t Say Nah’ received support from some of the biggest names in dance music, with plays from Dom Dolla, Oliver Heldens, Afrojack and Nicky Romero in club, radio and festival sets.

As festival season heats up, Day Trip Festival is once again shaping up to be one of the most essential weekends in house music. Returning to the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach on June 27-28, the Insomniac-backed event continues its evolution with an expanded footprint, a brand-new amphitheater stage, and one of its deepest lineups to date.

From sunset disco grooves to sweat-soaked warehouse energy, Day Trip 2026 is stacked with artists ready to deliver unforgettable moments along the California coast. While there’s truly no bad choice on this lineup, these are the five sets we’re circling first.

1. Green Velvet B2B Josh Baker

Anytime Green Velvet appears on a lineup, expectations are automatically sky-high. Pairing him with Josh Baker for a debut back-to-back set? That’s where things get dangerous.

Green Velvet remains one of the most iconic personalities in house and techno, capable of commanding massive festival stages while still sounding raw and underground. Josh Baker, meanwhile, has quietly become one of the hottest selectors in the minimal and tech-house space. His groove-heavy style feels tailor-made for Day Trip’s sun-drenched atmosphere.

The contrast here is what makes this booking so exciting. Velvet brings decades of acid-laced chaos and charisma, while Baker injects slick UK minimal rhythms that have dominated clubs over the past two years. Expect this set to walk the line between proper underground energy and total festival insanity.

If there’s one set with true “you had to be there” potential, it’s this one.

2. Cloonee

There may not be a hotter tech-house act in America right now than Cloonee.

Over the past few years, the Hellbent Records boss has transformed from a club favorite into a full-fledged festival weapon. His records dominate DJ sets across the scene, and his ability to control energy in massive environments has become elite-tier.

Day Trip feels like the perfect environment for him. The Long Beach waterfront crowd thrives on rolling basslines, percussion-heavy grooves, and tracks that feel built specifically for dancing in the sun. That’s basically Cloonee’s entire identity.

What makes this set especially intriguing is where he lands on the schedule. If he gets a sunset slot, expect pure magic. If he closes a stage, prepare for absolute chaos. Either way, this feels destined to be one of the most packed sets of the weekend.

3. Purple Disco Machine (Sunset Set)

Few artists understand festival atmosphere better than Purple Disco Machine.

His productions somehow manage to feel nostalgic and futuristic at the same time, blending disco, funk, and house into records that instantly elevate a crowd’s mood. At Day Trip, where golden-hour moments are practically part of the branding, a Purple Disco Machine sunset set feels almost unfair.

This is the type of booking that creates core festival memories. Ocean breeze, palm trees, thousands of people singing along to disco-infused house records. While many sets on the lineup will prioritize aggression and peak-time energy, Purple Disco Machine brings something equally important: joy. And in a scene increasingly obsessed with darker sounds, that balance matters.

4. Odd Mob

If you know, you know.

Odd Mob has spent the past year leveling up from cult favorite to one of dance music’s most talked-about names. His sound design is massive, his edits are everywhere online, and his sets have developed a reputation for being completely unhinged in the best way possible.

The Australian producer thrives on unpredictability. One second you’re locked into a groovy house rhythm, the next you’re getting blasted with bass-heavy switch-ups that feel closer to a warehouse rave than a beach festival.

That tension is exactly why this set could become one of the weekend’s breakout moments. Day Trip crowds have always embraced artists willing to push beyond standard house formulas, and Odd Mob feels perfectly positioned to take advantage of that energy.

Don’t be surprised if this ends up being the set everyone talks about on Monday morning.

5. SIDEPIECE B2B Westend

Festival back-to-backs can sometimes feel thrown together for poster value. This one actually makes sense.

SIDEPIECE and Westend both specialize in high-energy house music built for massive crowds. Their styles complement each other naturally: chunky basslines, infectious vocal hooks, and enough bounce to keep a crowd moving for hours.

What makes this pairing especially exciting is the unpredictability factor. B2Bs often allow artists to play looser and more creatively than they normally would solo, and that could produce one of the most fun dance parties of the weekend.

With a newly expanded festival layout and another lineup loaded top to bottom with house and techno talent, Day Trip 2026 is continuing its rise as one of North America’s premier dance music festivals. Whether you’re chasing sunset disco vibes, underground grooves, or full-send peak-time madness, this year’s edition looks ready to deliver across the board.

Bonus: BUNT.

BUNT. feels like one of the most interesting additions to this year’s Day Trip lineup because he brings an entirely different emotional energy than most artists on the bill. While the festival is loaded with darker club grooves and peak-time tech house, BUNT.’s melodic dance sound offers something more uplifting and cinematic. He is one of my all-time favorite sets I have ever seen, and I can’t wait for it in June.

Australian producer and DJ Odd Mob further cements his place at the forefront of global electronic music with his latest release, ‘Never Alone’, featuring Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Lizzy Land, out via Experts Only. The new single arrives as another confident step from the Australian artist, who has spent the past few years sharpening a sound that balances club functionality with melodic character. On ‘Never Alone’, Odd Mob leans into that balance with precision. Listen here.

The track fuses high-energy club momentum with melodic finesse, blending trance-tinged tech house influences with euphoric elements that remain true to Odd Mob’s signature style. The production opens with an atmospheric touch before gradually building into a driving, club-ready groove.

At the center of the record is Lizzy Land’s dreamlike vocal performance. Her hypnotic refrain — “if you believe in me, there’s nothing I won’t do” — adds an emotional pull that contrasts effectively with the track’s punchy low end, drawing listeners deeper into its sleek, futuristic energy.

Released through John Summit’s Experts Only imprint, ‘Never Alone’ reinforces Odd Mob’s continued upward momentum and his growing alignment with key tastemakers in the global dance space.

Australian powerhouse DJ Odd Mob will be taking over Central Park’s Summerstage on July 3rd to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Presented by EMW and RTM, the special event will feature a curated lineup of rising talent and established favorites that will be announced on a later date.

Other key hits include his take on Sean Paul’s ‘Get Busy’—now over 110 million streams on Spotify, and a smashing remix for John Summit’s ‘palm of my hands’ has over 23 million streams.

Odd Mob and OMNOM have come back together as duo project, HYPERBEAM, to release an electrifying new track, ‘System.’ After not releasing under HYPERBEAM in over a year, this track has been highly anticipated after both artists have been rinsing it in their sets throughout 2025. ‘System’ is a rework of M.I.A’s GRAMMY-nominated classic, ‘Paper Planes,’ that has been flipped from a snappy pop anthem to a dark, bass heavy club weapon.

Although Odd Mob and OMNOM have had many successful collaborative releases (even outside their HYPERBEAM project), they’ve chosen to make music independently over the last year to differentiate their individual brands and grow their solo acts. Within that year, both artists have developed unique sound profiles and have found footing in new collaborations. Odd Mob dropped ‘Won’t Be Possible’ with Tiësto and remixed Calvin Harris’ smash summer hit, ‘Blessings,’ While OMNOM released the high-tempo bass house stomper, ‘Everyone’s Your Friend,’ with rising star Marco Strous.

‘System’ marks the return of HYPERBEAM, but it’s unclear to what extent. Is the duo gearing up for another EP? Will they grace us with more B2B sets? Only time will tell.

This summer’s hottest hip-house banger, ‘Cash Out’ has received a fresh coat of paint from Australian rising star, Odd Mob. A collaboration between the Grammy-nominated tech house duo, SIDEPIECE, and Brooklyn rap icon, Bobby Shmurda, the track is a slick, modern reimagining of Shmurda’s explosive 2014 hit. SIDEPIECE first debuted ‘Cash Out’ in a viral moment at this year’s EDC Las Vegas cosmicMEADOW stage, at which they brought Shmurda on to perform the track live.

Odd Mob’s remix wastes no time taking SIDEPIECE’s club ready tech house groover to another level with his signature crisp production and roaring bass stabs he’s known so well for. The track feels akin to some of Odd Mob’s most beloved remixes, like John Summit’s ‘palm of my hands’ and Sub Focus’ ‘Push The Tempo.’ While the original rides on a rolling tech house groove, Odd Mob injects palpable tension into his remix. The buildup is tight, layering crisp percussion and distorted synths until it all takes off into a thunderous final drop. ‘Cash Out’ isn’t just a remix, it’s Odd Mob throwing gas on a track that was already on fire.

Last year marked the biggest year of Odd Mob’s career with major headlining shows across the US and even performances at Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas and many more iconic festivals. To top off an unbelievable 2024, Odd Mob is running it back this year with another North American tour and even announced his new Vegas residency at the Wynn. His bass house sounds are defining him as a front runner in in today’s electronic music scene. As he hits the Great Hall at Avant Gardner this weekend, he’ll be joined by Black V Neck and Aazure to support him on this big night.
