Prince Fox- Heartbeat Darkside (Ft. Thewz)

It has been a huge day for Prince Fox, who just dropped his debut EP ‘Musings.’ The EP features his smooth deep house single ‘Wait Until Tomorrow,’ his first original release. The track represented a significant stylistic shift for Prince Fox, as he drifted away from euphoric future bass towards far darker and deeper production. The contrast between these styles is best presented with his VIP of ‘Wait Until Tomorrow,’ which features his signature brand of future pop. His EP features a brand new single that veers on the deep side of the spectrum. The EP also features remixes of ‘Wait Until Tomorrow’ from Choppa Dunks, NIGHTOWLS and You&Me.

Prince Fox’s new single is ‘Heartbeat Darkside,’ featuring the soulful vocals of his former college roommate Thewz. Fox masterfully pitched down the vocals to fit the track’s dark and sensual vibes. He perfectly complements the vocals with an infectiously groovy deep house melody that belongs on any late night playlist. The song is now available along with the five track EP, which is a huge milestone in Prince Fox’s rapidly budding career. You can purchase the EP here, or just check out ‘Heartbeat Darkside’ below.

Prince Fox Celebrates Record Deal With EP & VIP Edit of ‘Wait Until Tomorrow’

Prince Fox – Wait Until Tomorrow (VIP Edit)

It’s a big day for fans of New York based producer Sam Lassner, better known as Prince Fox. Yesterday afternoon, Lassner announced on his Facebook page that he had signed his first record deal with Republic/Casablanca Records. To celebrate the deal, Fox posted a VIP edit of ‘Wait Until Tomorrow,’ his biggest hit that quickly reached #1 on Hype Machine earlier this year, and also revealed that his debut E.P. called ‘Musings‘ will be released on October 9th through Casablanca Records.

Prince Fox’s Variance in Production (VIP) of ‘Wait Until Tomorrow’ went for a more uptempo route. The original has a very soft tropical vibe, whereas the new version incorporates much more electro style percussion infused with Fox’s signature horns. As for the E.P. and record deal, Republic/Casablanca will be the official release and distribution partner for ‘Musings,’ which you can check out the tracklist for below. Prince Fox is currently touring alongside the young Norwegian Matoma, so if you see your city on the list of dates below, you won’t want to miss your chance to see both of these rising stars. The VIP edit of ‘Wait Until Tomorrow’ is available as a free download, and you can take advantage of that below as well.
