The Los Angeles-based independent event producer has added a second night at Watson Island Park, with Adriatique B2B a surprise guest set to headline Saturday, December 5.

The announcement follows Framework and unKommon events’ previously revealed December 4 debut with ANOTR, turning the collaboration into a full two-night Miami Art Week program at the never-before-used venue.

Adriatique Joins Night Two

The second night puts Swiss duo Adriatique at the center of the action.

Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer have spent more than a decade developing a sound that moves between melodic house, techno and emotionally driven electronic music, making them a fitting addition to Miami Art Week.

But Framework is keeping one pretty important detail secret: who will join them for the B2B.

Adriatique’s official tour schedule currently lists the December 5 Miami date simply as “ADRIATIQUE B2B ???.”

During Art Week, those three question marks could get interesting. We think it could be Solomun or it could be Mathame, but who knows.

From One Miami Night to Two

The announcement expands on the Miami debut EDMTunes previously reported, which will see ANOTR headline Watson Island Park on Friday, December 4.

Together, the two events mark Framework’s first Miami Art Week program and continue its partnership with unKommon events.

Framework Expands Beyond Los Angeles

Miami is part of a much larger fall season for Framework.

The company will make its Arizona debut on October 30 in partnership with Relentless Beats, bringing Chris Stussy to Rawhide Event Center. On December 3, Framework heads to Texas with Franky Rizardo’s FLOW at The Concourse Project in Austin.

Back home, Framework is also rolling out a 19-show Los Angeles fall series featuring names including HUGEL, PAWSA, Solomun, KETTAMA, Prospa, Josh Baker, Afrojack, Max Styler and Adriatique.

The shows will stretch across spaces including Shrine Expo Hall, Reframe Studios Outdoors, Gin Ling Way and the Historic Sears Building, while Solomun returns to Hollywood Boulevard on November 28 for Framework’s fifth large-scale takeover of the iconic street.

It’s an ambitious fall for a promoter that has spent more than a decade building its identity in Los Angeles—and is now increasingly taking that formula outside the city.

The Miami run begins with ANOTR on December 4, followed by Adriatique B2B ??? on December 5.

Now we just need to know who’s hiding behind those question marks.

Framework has spent more than a decade building its presence within Los Angeles’ underground electronic music scene, producing events in unconventional locations while bringing in some of house and techno’s biggest names.

For its first venture into Miami, the company is teaming up with a producer that already knows the city well.

Miami-based unKommon events specializes in curated experiences spanning music, hospitality, culture and design. For the December collaboration, both companies will work together across talent, production and the overall guest experience.

Framework founder Kobi Danan says Miami Art Week provided a natural opportunity for the company to make its entrance into the city.

“Miami has always been one of the world’s great creative capitals, and Miami Art Week creates an incredible moment where music, art, fashion, and culture naturally intersect.”

Danan added that welcoming ANOTR for Framework’s first Miami event felt like the ideal way to introduce the brand to the city.

unKommon events founder Seth Kaplan echoed that sentiment, describing the partnership as an opportunity to combine the strengths of both independent producers.

ANOTR Heads to Watson Island

At the center of it all will be Amsterdam duo ANOTR, whose blend of house, disco, soul, funk and jazz has helped propel them into one of dance music’s most recognizable acts.

The duo released their third studio album, Withness, through their own No Art imprint in June. The 12-track project includes tracks such as ‘Talk To You’, ‘Like It’, and ‘Paradise‘ continuing the evolution of a sound built around the dancefloor while pulling from a much wider range of influences.

ANOTR’s recent run follows 2025 album On A Trip and breakout records including ‘Relax My Eyes‘ and ‘How You Feel.‘ The duo has also taken its No Art concept far beyond a traditional record label, building a broader community around music, events and collaborative experiences.

That makes them a particularly fitting choice for a Miami Art Week event centered around the intersection of music and creative culture.

Framework Continues Expanding Beyond Los Angeles

Miami isn’t the only new market Framework is entering this year.

The company recently announced its first Arizona event through a partnership with Relentless Beats, bringing Chris Stussy to Rawhide Event Center for a Halloween show on October 30. The event will also feature Rossi., Marsolo and Natalia Roth.

According to the Miami Herald, Art Basel is currently negotiating with the City of Miami Beach over a new contract that would keep the internationally renowned fair in South Florida beyond 2026. At the center of the discussions is the cost of hosting the event, with Art Basel seeking significant reductions after its annual licensing fee climbed to nearly $1 million.

City officials have proposed lowering the base rental fee to approximately $400,000 while covering an additional $300,000 in public safety costs. However, several key terms—including the length of the agreement, transportation funding, and event operations—remain under negotiation.

Black Coffee – Open Air at the Downtown Courthouse

Curated by the Miami institution Club Space, Black Coffee at the Miami-Dade County Courthouse on Saturday, December 6, was a unique open-air show that took over the downtown for a true special occasion. The South African house titan brought his signature deep, soulful grooves and Afro-house energy to the backdrop of the city’s civic architecture. The vibe was electric, with melodic beats under the night sky. It felt like a large but exclusive block party and proved why Black Coffee remains one of the most globally respected DJs on the circuit. The evening’s support artists, Arodes and Floyd Lavine, helped build the event into an epic night. All in all, it was a statement that Basel week’s heartbeat doesn’t only belong at clubs and warehouses.

Factory Basel: Factory Town was the Late-Night Playground

Spread across five straight days from Wednesday through Sunday at Factory Town in Hialeah, Factory Basel turned the sprawling, multi-stage industrial space into Art Basel Miami’s go-to for nonstop house and techno. The marquee night by far was Saturday’s Circoloco takeover, which mirrored a trip directly to Ibiza, where the iconic brand has its roots. Circoloco’s packed lineup featured heavy hitters like Adriatique, ANOTR, Dixon, Seth Troxler, Bedouin, Beltran, Chloé Caillet and PAWSA, bringing textural depth and peak energy to the crowd until 7 a.m.

Factory Basel was a literal festival with five stages competing, colliding and coexisting from sundown to sunrise. Factory Town rewarded wandering and stamina, and the lineup on any given day was huge. Wednesday featured Tiësto and Hugel; Thursday had Cloonee and friends, Chris Stussy and Richie Hawtin; Friday had Solomun; and Sunday’s grand finale was none other than elrow.

Space Basel: Club Space’s 33+ Hour Closing Party and Marathons

Of course, Club Space had its own extended run of nightly insanity and marathon sessions, Space Basel, which ran from late night into the next morning and afternoon. It kicked off with Black Book Records on Tuesday. The Deep Root Tribe showcase on Wednesday delivered tribal house rhythms and the kind of vibe where people lost track of time and conversations became secondary to the beat. The showcase featured an extended set by Deep Root Tribe co-founder Francis Mercier, who then went back-to-back with MoBlack.

Jamie Jones‘ Paradise took over the Club Space Terrace on Thursday, Marco Carola brought Music On on Friday, and Saturday was a huge night with Solomun. Then there was the 33+-hour closing party, a Space Basel tradition taken to new extremes. Kicking off late Sunday night and rolling well into Tuesday, this marathon session featured rare back-to-back sets like ANOTR b2b Dennis Cruz and Chris Stussy b2b Seth Troxler, along with heavyweight techno pairings like Joseph Capriati b2b Traumer. It was a true endurance test for the committed.

Final Thoughts

What makes Art Basel Miami a destination for dance music devotees is how the party week draws tasteful, high-level electronic acts and productions that integrate into the city’s greater artistic pulse. The lineup alone hinted that the festival planned to swing big, and it delivered. Eric Prydz headlining in Wynwood is already a statement, but Prydz in the middle of an art-driven festival – surrounded by steel structures, murals, and projections – landed differently. His two-hour set at the Zamna Stage on Friday was a patient build-up with a euphoric ending. The stage didn’t have epic-level production, but it didn’t have to. Prydz seemed intent on matching the space rather than overpowering it, and the crowd responded by sinking fully into the journey.

Creative Lineup

Another one of the most anticipated moments of the weekend was the Dixon b2b Jimi Jules set at the Desiderata Stage, and it lived up to the hype. Their combined energy created a minimal, hypnotic set that was easy to submit to and impossible to leave. It was the kind of performance that feels like it’s playing directly to your subconscious. For a festival built on the idea that music and art should blur together, this was the blueprint.

Luciano also used the new venue to full advantage, debuting his first-ever live show, Luciano: Alive, at the Zamna Stage on Friday. It was full of surprises and a reminder that live electronic can still feel spontaneous rather than rehearsed. His DJ set later that night closing out the Desiderata Stage packed more of the sleek, rolling grooves he’s known for, giving fans the full spectrum.

One of the most joyful sets of the festival came from LP Giobbi at the Zamna Stage on Saturday. She delivered her usual mix of warm piano riffs, disco-sprinkled house and high-vibe energy, but what stood out was how she held the space – smiling, connecting and making the dance floor feel like the festival’s heartbeat.

Beyond other heavy hitters like CamelPhat and SOFI TUKKER, Art With Me’s curation proved sharp. Christian Löffler at the Zamna Stage on Saturday brought a soft, cerebral spell over the crowd, weaving ambient textures with melodic techno. Neil Frances’ Club NF kept things loose and groovy at the Zamna Stage on Friday, and Zamna Soundsystem reminded everyone why the Tulum collective’s name carries the weight it does. The All Day I Dream Stage hosted by Lee Burridge‘s renowned brand drew a crowd of its dedicated fans.

The Art of Art With Me

But the magic of the weekend extended far beyond the stages. The RC Cola Plant has always had artistic bones, but Art With Me transformed it. Massive installations, live painting, projection art and serene pockets dedicated to breathwork and mindfulness broke up the intensity of the dance floors. The centerpiece was the Apotheneum, a 30-foot illuminated cylinder within a 40-foot cube, built from 26,000 LEDs. It created an immersive sound and fully multi-sensory environment where attendees could lie down at the base and look up at the countless lights. You could drift from a meditative sound bath straight into a thumping techno set without ever feeling the experience was disjointed – the transitions were the point.

This edition made good on the festival’s founding ethos: art, wellness and music working in tandem instead of competing for attention. And with co-founder Matt Caines stepping behind the decks this year, the festival felt more personal.

Art With Me 2025 was one of the biggest festivals of Miami Art Week, while also offering intention, texture and a sense of community that’s hard to fake. With its new venue, new collaborator, and renewed creative fire, the festival didn’t just make a triumphant return after its last edition in 2023 at the much more remote Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. It evolved – in a way fitting to Art Basel.

Art Basel announced the unfortunate news on their social media.

The announcement states, “We regret to announce that the 2020 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach has been canceled. As the artworld continues to face momentous challenges, we remain firmly committed to supporting the global gallery community and look forward to when we can meet again.”

Organizers of the Miami art show have postponed the event to December 2 – 5, 2021. Those who planned to participate in the show will not be charged any fees. Instead, those fees will be applied for next year’s gathering.

Miami Art Week takes place within the first week of December. Artists from around the globe use this time to showcase their creative works. Art Basel is known to bring a sweet and epic conclusion to this special week. However, it seems that things will change for this unprecedented 2020.

On Wednesday, other art shows planned to take place within MAW have been canceled. This includes CONTEXT Art Miami and Aqua Art Miami.
