The phrase anchoring the collaboration — “My First Love Was a Playboy Playmate” — already lives inside Audien’s visual world, and it’s now been worked into the clothing alongside metallic hearts and Playboy’s branding. It’s a line that ties his own narrative around First Love to Playboy’s long-running association with music and nightlife culture.

The Playboy x Audien line covers T-shirts, hoodies, long sleeves, crop tops and hats. Expect metallic Bunny graphics, collegiate-style typography and oversized print treatments, ranging from subtle co-branded pieces to statement shirts with the full “My First Love Was a Playboy Playmate” text. Prices run from $24 to $78, and the collection is shoppable now through Playboy’s online store.

The metallic heart at the center of it all isn’t new to Audien’s rollout. It first showed up on the First Love album cover and has since carried through his tour artwork, stage visuals and live shows. After the album dropped, Audien also ran a fan campaign asking people to submit messages to their own first loves, collecting over 1,000 submissions that were turned into a digital billboard on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Playboy tie-in is effectively an extension of that same visual thread, just translated into streetwear.

“First Love became so much bigger than just the album for me,” Audien said. “The heart has followed us through the shows, artwork and everything we’ve built around this era, so getting to reinterpret that world with a brand as iconic as Playboy was really exciting. I wanted the collection to feel like something I’d actually wear, not just artist merch, and I love how both identities came together.”

New Music and the PHND Movement

The merch drop lands during a busy stretch for Audien. He recently released ‘7 Miles High’ with rising New York producer Luke Alexander, continuing to push his sound past the progressive house lane he built his name on. That single followed July’s ‘High Hopes’ with Shaun Farrugia and ‘Sacrifice’ with Sam Harper, part of a steady run of releases built around what he calls “Emotional Euphoric Music.”

He’s also been busy on stage. After playing Sphere Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Lost In Dreams Festival, Audien brought his Progressive House Never Died movement — known as PHND — to New York City this summer for three shows in under 30 hours, headlined by a mini-festival at The Rooftop at Pier 17. PHND launched in 2022 as something of a rallying cry for progressive house loyalists and has since turned into a touring brand with sold-out stops at Brooklyn Mirage, The Torch at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Hollywood Palladium, Echostage and New City Gas.

With the Playboy collection live, ‘7 Miles High’ out now, and PHND set to hit The Midway in San Francisco on October 9, Audien is juggling music, merch and touring all under the same First Love banner.
