The Closing Weekend kicks off Friday, October 16 with Marco Carola’s Music On imprint landing in New York for the first time. Carola will be joined by Franky Rizardo, who brings his usual tight, groove-driven approach, and Mason Collective, a pairing known for raw, peak-time sets. Music On has built a reputation across Ibiza and beyond as one of the more consistent brands in the tech-house and techno space, so its New York debut carries some weight for the local scene.

Saturday, October 17 belongs to Black Coffee, who closes out his residency run at Pacha with the deep, immersive sound that’s made him one of the most in-demand names in house music over the past decade. The South African producer has spent the year touring behind his signature blend of Afro-tinged house and melodic depth, and this New York date caps off that series on a high note.

The outdoor season’s official sendoff lands Sunday, October 18, with Marco Carola returning alongside PAWSA to close out what’s been Pacha New York’s first Open Air run. It’s a fitting bookend — Carola opening and closing the weekend that marks the end of the venue’s debut outdoor chapter.

Things don’t slow down much before Halloween. The final outdoor weekend of the season opens Thursday, October 29 with Vintage Culture bringing his ‘Affairs’ concept to Brooklyn, following a sold-out debut edition and a standout residency run in Ibiza this past summer.

Friday, October 30 brings Grammy winner Kaytranada to the Pacha stage, with a set pulling from his genre-blurring catalog of house, funk, R&B and hip-hop — including cuts off his acclaimed album Timeless. Few producers move as fluidly between dancefloor and radio as Kaytranada does, and his New York shows tend to draw a crowd well beyond the usual house music crowd.

Closing out the season on Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31, is German producer Purple Disco Machine, who brings his disco-house sound and deep catalog of global hits to Brooklyn fresh off a 13-night residency at Pacha Ibiza. It’s a high-energy way to shut the lights on Pacha New York’s first outdoor season.

Tickets for both weekends, along with other upcoming shows at Pacha New York and Brooklyn Pacha, are available now through the venue’s official site. The club also has a run of dates leading into these weekends, including Jamie Jones on October 9 and 50 Cent on October 10, continuing a busy fall calendar for the Brooklyn venue’s first year in operation.

The LA show follows a London edition of the anniversary run that went down at Magazine Open-Air, where Leon Thomas, Sasha Keable, JayO, Wayne Wonder, and DJ Tunez all made appearances. Now Framework and Soulection are taking the celebration back to where it all started, Los Angeles, the city that birthed the collective and still anchors its identity.

The biggest name on the bill is KAYTRANADA, who will perform with Soulection for the first time. That’s notable given how intertwined their histories already are, the Grammy-winning producer’s early remixes and his signature bounce of electronic and R&B influences helped shape the sound of Soulection Radio well before this booking. This marks his first official live set alongside Joe Kay and the rest of the Soulection team, which is a meaningful full-circle moment for both parties.

Soulection was founded in 2011 by DJ and entrepreneur Joe Kay, growing from a local LA radio show into a platform with global reach. Over the past decade and a half, the brand has built a reputation for spotting talent early, consistently pushing what it calls the Sound of Tomorrow before it crosses into the mainstream. Sango, one of the longest running names associated with the collective, rounds out the top of the bill alongside the Soulection & Friends set.

The venue itself is part of the story here. Reframe Studios Outdoors is Framework’s open air extension of its Atwater Village space, built to handle larger crowds while keeping the intimate, design forward feel that Framework is known for around LA’s dance music scene.

The event lands Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Reframe Studios Outdoors in Los Angeles. For updates on the event and the last tickets available, head over to this link right here.

Vintage Culture joins two previously announced shows to round out the weekend. Kaytranada takes over Pacha New York on October 30, followed by Purple Disco Machine closing things out on Halloween night itself, October 31.

Kaytranada, meanwhile, continues to be one of dance music’s more genre-agnostic forces. The Grammy winner for Best Dance/Electronic Album has spent over a decade blending house, funk, R&B, and hip-hop into a sound that rarely sits still. His 2024 album Timeless pulled in collaborators like Childish Gambino, Tinashe, Anderson .Paak, PinkPantheress, and Thundercat, and picked up Grammy nominations along with year-end recognition from Billboard and Rolling Stone.

Tickets and VIP reservations for Pacha New York’s Halloween Weekend shows, along with the rest of the 2026 season, are available now at pacha-nyc.com.

Having drawn more than 70,000 attendees across its last two editions and secured its home at Parc del Fòrum through 2028, the festival has grown into one of Europe’s more distinctive electronic music events. What started in 2012 as a series of open-air Sunday parties has expanded into a year-round brand with events across Barcelona and internationally — and the annual festival is where that identity is most fully on display.

Friday’s lineup is led by Kaytranada, Jeff Mills, Miss Monique and Paul Kalkbrenner. Saturday brings Eric Prydz, Luciano, Floating Points (live) and a rare BASHKKA b2b Sally C. The Blaze closes things out on Sunday with a DJ set as part of a programme that spans pretty much the full spectrum of contemporary electronic music.

The breadth here is real. Techno is covered by Jeff Mills, Rødhåd, Marrøn, I Hate Models, SNTS and 999999999. On the more melodic end, CamelPhat, Kevin de Vries, Massano and Miss Monique all feature. Jamie Jones, Luciano, Seth Troxler and Wade lead the house and tech-house contingent, while Shanti Celeste, Chaos in the CBD, PARAMIDA and Yu Su round out the underground side of things.

Several performances carry exclusivity worth noting. Kaytranada’s appearance is his only peninsular show of 2026. Cassius (live) and Acid Arab (live) will each play their only Spanish live dates of the year. The b2b pairings — Âme b2b Trikk and Amémé b2b LP Giobbi among them — are billed as one-off collaborations. Barcelona’s local scene also features throughout, with Paula GM, Brieela, INEXXSTABLE, NHYMPH and others representing the city’s current crop of talent.

Upgraded Production and New Stage Designs

The 2026 edition also comes with meaningful production upgrades. The GrooviK stage has been redesigned with an industrial aesthetic, a circular roof and a two-level structure intended to tighten the gap between artist and audience. IconiK by Yamaha expands into one of the festival’s larger spaces with a new visual concept. The Open Stage — now in its third edition and functioning as a community hub — returns with an open call for eight DJ slots per day, with submissions open until July 16.

L-Acoustics sound has been upgraded across the site. Crowd flow and public spaces have been reworked, food options expanded, and comfort measures added based on direct feedback from previous attendees. Four cold-water refill stations return — the festival distributed 90,000 litres in 2025 — alongside new shaded rest areas, misting systems and free fruit throughout the day.

Afterparties have also been confirmed at some of Barcelona’s better-known venues: Input, Upload and La Terraza on Friday and Saturday (with free shuttle buses connecting Parc del Fòrum to Poble Espanyol), and NACAR hosting Sunday’s closing party. The shuttle service is part of the festival’s broader sustainability push, reducing transport emissions while easing movement between venues.

Accessibility support continues in partnership with Music For All Foundation, offering adapted spaces, specialist assistance and dedicated resources for visitors with hearing, visual and mobility disabilities.

The post Brunch Electronik Festival Announces Full Lineup for Barcelona Return appeared first on EDMTunes.

The innovative announcement unveiled major additions to the August 7-8 festival at Parc del Fòrum, with Kaytranada, legendary Detroit techno pioneer Jeff Mills, and French house icons Cassius (performing live) now confirmed alongside previously announced headliners.

When Food Meets Festival Culture

According to the announcement, 100 guests from Barcelona’s music, food, art, and culture scenes gathered at a secret location for an immersive experience designed to flip the script on traditional lineup drops. In an era where most festivals settle for Instagram graphics and caption reveals, Brunch Electronik opted for something more tangible.

The centerpiece? A massive egg-shaped timer that’s become a recurring visual element in this year’s campaign, paired with a culinary journey curated by Roca — whose restaurant El Celler de Can Roca has held three Michelin stars and topped the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

Canadian selector Yu Su provided the soundtrack for the evening, adding a meta layer to the whole affair: announcing artists while one of those very artists performed.

The Headliners Worth Tasting

Kaytranada’s inclusion marks a major get for the festival. The Grammy-winning producer has been on an absolute tear lately, and his festival slots have become increasingly selective. His signature blend of house, funk, and hip-hop fits perfectly with Brunch Electronik’s genre-fluid approach.

Jeff Mills needs no introduction to techno heads. The Wizard’s influence on electronic music spans decades, and his live sets remain masterclasses in selection and technical prowess. Seeing him on a festival bill in 2026 is always an event worth circling.

Then there’s Cassius performing live — a significant booking given the duo’s legendary status in French house. These full live setups from electronic acts continue to be festival highlights, offering something beyond the standard DJ set experience.

The Rising Names on the Bill

Beyond the headliners, Phase 2 brings serious depth with artists like Luciano, SYREETA, and a strong representation of emerging talent. The newly announced names include B1N0, BASHKKA b2b Sally C, BIXBITA, Dani6ix & IZZKID, Flashy Ice Cream, Gigi Ros, Gusset, INEXXSTABLE, Jovedry, Julian Anthony, Lildami, Max Dean, Mercè, Nadi Cabbad, NHYMPH, Nuup, PAULA GM, and Yu Su.

That’s a lineup that balances established names with the kind of underground and experimental acts that have become Brunch Electronik’s signature. The festival has built its reputation on curation that goes deeper than booking the same rotation of Beatport Top 10 artists.

Why This Announcement Matters

Here’s the thing about lineup reveals in 2026: they’ve become so formulaic that festivals are struggling to cut through. Everyone drops a graphic, maybe a hype video, and calls it a day. What Brunch Electronik did here speaks to a broader shift we’re seeing among forward-thinking festivals.

By creating an actual experience around the announcement and involving cultural figures outside of music (like Chef Roca), they’re building narrative and community in ways that pure digital marketing can’t replicate. It’s the kind of move that gets people talking beyond just the names on the poster.

The collaboration with a 3-star Michelin chef also reinforces Barcelona’s position as a cultural hub where electronic music intersects with other creative disciplines. That’s increasingly what separates memorable festivals from forgettable ones — the holistic experience, not just the lineup.

Looking Ahead to August

Brunch Electronik Festival 2026 goes down August 7-8 at Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona. Given the caliber of artists being announced and the creative energy already surrounding the event, this is shaping up to be one of the late-summer highlights on the European festival calendar.

Tickets and full festival details are available now at brunchelectronikfestival.com. With names like Kaytranada, Jeff Mills, and Cassius already on the bill — plus what’s likely more announcements to come — waiting on this one probably isn’t the move.
