Sigma – Stay (Kat Krazy Remix)

It’s odd to think that the UK’s dance music scene has been overshadowed by its explosive popularity around the world, Kat Krazy however, is quickly changing that perception. The UK-based producer is a serial remixer, accumulating over 20 million streams across his remixes of Rihanna, Bastille, Iggy Azalea, Natalie La Rose, and more. His most recent effort, a remix of Sigma‘s drum & bass hit, “Stay”, is set to surely dominate London’s club scene for the next few months.

On the remix, Kat Krazy strips down the track’s original production in favor of a signature house backbone that features just the right amount of pop undertones. The deep, throbbing bass line is perfectly complemented by soaring piano melodies, soft percussion elements, and intricate synth arrangements that makes KK’s take of “Stay” a groovy house anthem. Check it out below and show it some love on Hype Machine if you dig it.

The Score – Oh My Love (Kat Krazy Remix)

There are few up-and-coming producers who have as keen of an ear for high-energy, groovy house music than London’s Kat Krazy. Just last month, he saw a massive reception for his remix of Ella Eyre’s “Good Times,” and now he’s back with another stand-out remix, but this time it’s for The Score’s “Oh My Love.” Kat Krazy has successfully repositioned the feel-good song for dance floors with punchy drums, gliding synths, shuffling percussion, and the The Score’s original vocals for a complete, club-ready rendition. Keep an eye out for more from Kat Krazy and stream the remix below.

“I heard this song on an advert on the TV and it instantly caught my ear, the next day I had a request to remix it and couldn’t resist, a great hook to work with and really enjoyed putting my own twist on it!” – Kat Krazy

The legendary Armin van Buuren has returned to his remixing duties after prior release of his artist album “Intense” and hot on the heels of his forthcoming “Intense (The More Intense Edition)” remixed version of his artist album. Though on the other production foot, his latest personal remix effort is a sheerly atmospheric-heights-inducing take on Kat Krazy‘s wicked clean production “Siren” featuring the gripping vocals of Elkka.
Showcasing his ability to curate euphoria to stratospheric heights while retaining a punchy edge, “Siren” is one massive release of crystal clear proportions. The ludicrously emotive synth builds in the bridge that lead into the serotonin-dumping release-of-a-drop is goosebump causing evidence of Armin’s pure mastery of musicality. The radio rip from ASOT 638 below is going to have you get you by until the mixes’ official release on November 18. Where’s dat repeat button, Soundcloud?!
