This week, he dropped a surprise tune called ‘Lose You‘ with UK popstar James Arthur. Unlike his previous hits that sit under the electronic dance music genre, Afrojack delves into the world of pop music with a very upbeat, danceable number.

Opinions are always varied whenever dance music artists produce pop records under their own names. But for Afrojack, he seems very happy, confident and proud with his recent production and his choice of vocalist.

Not only is ‘Lose You’ is the Dutchman’s latest offering, but also Arthur’s as well. Speaking of the latter, the UK musician has previously jumped on a dance track before where he worked with Rudimental on ‘Sun Comes Up’ in 2017 and ‘Lasting Lover’ with countryman DJ and producer Sigala in 2020.

‘Lose You’ is out now on Universal Music Group (UMG) and available now to stream on a chosen platform.

‘Questions’ shows another bit of creative prowess the clever DJ has under his belt. The new track is just in time to make its way around festivals this season and for his summer tour.

Recently Lost Frequencies rose to stardom through his massive dancefloor heater, ‘Where Are You Now’. Up next for him is a summer tour where he’ll make multiple stops at Tomorrowland and all over Europe.

Marshmello Juicy J ft James Arthur – You Can Cry

Recently, the increasingly popular Marshmello released a new track. This new song features three artists from traditionally different genres.

‘You Can Cry‘ includes a chorus by James Arthur which sets the solemn tone for the entirety of the track. Shortly after, Juicy J jumps in taking the lead and transitioning back and forth between the two lyricists. Such an intersect of artists is exceptionally noteworthy because of it’s ability to blend multiple genres in a seamless performance, both converging on an electronic base. Because Marshmello has orchestrated a song without genre limitations, it is likely that more artists follow suit.

If you resonate with any of the three performers, it is definitely worth a listen to see how well the three work together. Mello is no stranger to collaborating with other producers, which may support the longevity of his career.  Give the track a listen on Spotify or Soundcloud below.

Rudimental – Sun Comes Up (feat. James Arthur)

Uplifting. Spiritual. Feel good. Whatever positive adjective you’d like to choose would be the perfect description for the latest tune coming from UK based group Rudimental. Their latest track, ‘Sun Comes Up’ is both motivating and relaxing simultaneously. If there’s a recipe for good summer hits, this one has it all. A relaxing melancholic beat, smooth vocals, and an essence of tropical vibes.

For the past year, Rudimental’s track, ‘Lay It All On Me’ has been blasted through speakers across the globe. They’ve followed up with a few releases, but this is the biggest one since. You should recognize the vocals on this track as they’re coming from fellow UK artist James Arthur. We love what these guys are doing. So check out the stream or grab the download below. And be sure to have this one queued up as you wrap up your late night to watch the sun come up. Enjoy!
