It’s been over a year since the extraterrestrials of AREA21 traveled to Planet Earth. Today, they’ve returned and brought us a brand new track titled ‘HELP‘.

Many artists these days work on tons of different side projects under different aliases so they can create music outside their usual genre.  When it comes to Martin Garrix, he didn’t want just any normal alias – he wanted to become an alien. AREA21 was born in his mind in collaboration with American rapper Maejor. They first touched down back in 2016 at Ultra Music Festival with their hit track ‘Spaceships‘. They continued making contact with follow up singles ‘Girls,’ ‘We Did It,’ ‘Glad You Came,’ and ‘Happy‘.

‘HELP’ marks the sixth attempt of AREA21 reaching out to us here on Earth. This one sounds like they’re trying to give us a wake up call. Maejor belts out a heartfelt vocal where he preaches some of the wrongdoings he sees happening on our planet, along with the hope that change can come.  Martin Garrix accompanies these messages with trap, bass and hip-hop vibes that are literally out of this world.

We’ve come to expect nothing but the best from Garrix and Maejor under the alias of AREA21, and they have delivered yet again. Climb aboard the AREA21 spaceship and check out the new extraterrestrial track ‘Help’ below!

Rod Lurie, the loving father of Hunter, has accepted his son’s passing and has chosen to focus on the fact that “he died dancing. There is something to be said for that.”

He recently began reaching out to several different Electric Forest groups in hopes of acquiring the full sets from artists that his son would have seen during the final days leading up to his death.

They say that music brings people together. If this will help Hunter’s family have closure and a better understanding of Hunter’s passing, our community should come together in order to show our support during this difficult time.

Rod was shooting a movie in Bulgaria while his son was attending the festival. When he was advised that his son was not in stable conditions, he rushed to the airport to be by his side. He was able to hold his son’s hand in his final moments on Earth.

Check out Rod’s heart-wrenching post below:

All hail the seafox!!!… a mystical creature adopted by progressive house power-duo, Galantis.  Comprised of Christian Karlsson (of Miike Snow) and Linus Eklow (Style of Eye), the duo just debuted their live video to go along with their summer smash, Help. The footage is largely pulled from their live April debut at Coachella.  If you look closely enough, you’ll catch a quick snipit of their world class mentor, Kaskade, on stage with them.  As if this celebrity endorsement wasn’t enough to give you faith in this duo, start this video over, turn up the volume, put on your best headphones, and let it ride.

“Help” captures a simple vocal riff, and a melodic bass that builds both verses into a “feelsy fever pitch,”free of the commercialized, dissonant big room drops that have slowly taken over the style of many producers that would call themselves progressive.

Garnering an incredibly radiant fusion of upbeat electro beats and synthesized vocals, Galantis‘ new track “The Heart That I’m Hearing” is a jubilant decree of the DJ duo’s unique musical style. Composed of Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklow, also known as Style Of Eye, the producer partnership that is Galantis clearly proves the cliche, two heads are better than one. The collective of the piano melody, digital voices, and pop-influenced aspects give the song a tinge of retro feel, but wholly provides an fresh song that will inevitably Help You Smile. For those new to Galantis, “Help,” “You,” and “Smile” are all similarly jubilant songs by the duo that will be releasing on their EP on April 1st. We can’t wait!
