First introduced at EDC Las Vegas in 2018, Camp EDC has become a festival staple, welcoming over 25,000 campers annually. Offering a unique way to immerse oneself in the festival, campers are treated to wellness workshops, pool parties, games, exclusive sets from world-renowned artists, and more, all within the sprawling hub known as The Mesa. Notably, The Mesa holds the Guinness World Record for the largest synthetic lawn complex, covering an expansive 259,405 square feet.

The party begins on the Thursday night before the festival, leading into a weekend filled with music, wellness, and community. Over the years, Camp EDC has hosted performances by some of the biggest names in dance music, including Excision, Eric Prydz, Walker & Royce, and Kaskade. Other noteworthy acts include Fisher, Dom Dolla, Eli Brown, VNSSA, Dombresky, Joseph Capriati, Matroda, and Wax Motif. Last year, the weekend closed with a special Monday sunrise b2b set featuring Mau P and John Summit.

This year’s Camp EDC introduces several new features aimed at enhancing convenience and elevating the camping experience. RV campers will now have the option to purchase fuel on-site, ensuring they stay powered throughout the weekend. Shiftpod campers can look forward to increased seating and more spacious access on the continuous tram service, which connects multiple stops across the campgrounds. Additionally, Camp EDC has expanded its service teams for both RVs and Shiftpods, providing faster response times in case any issues arise, ensuring a smoother, worry-free stay for all campers.

In addition to the stellar lineup of world-class DJs, campers can indulge in a variety of exciting activities designed for everyone. From goat yoga and arcade games to shuffling classes and much more, there’s no shortage of fun at Camp EDC. After a full day of dancing, Headliners can unwind with a ride on the ferris wheel or take a refreshing dip in one of the many pools scattered throughout the campgrounds.

Loyalty Presale Begins Thursday 10/3 at 10AM PT (last year’s campers that purchased 2025 passes) and Future Owl Passholder Presale Begins Friday 10/4 at 10AM PT at lasvegas.electricdaisycarnival.com/camp-edc

Power duo SLANDER is known for creating some of the most emotional tracks that are almost always guaranteed to become a fan favorite. The post These are the Must-See Artists at EDC Las Vegas appeared first on EDMTunes.

Rotella begins the announcement by acknowledging those who have been affected by the sudden date change for EDC. He addresses the situation and all the mixed reactions received about the news.

“I know many of you are excited that EDC is now in October while some are disappointed it’s not happening in May,” he said. “I care about each & every one of your feelings & experiences, whether good or bad. I want to do this AMA because it’s important to me to always address all your questions & concerns.”

To end the statement, Rotella shares his goal for fans and the influence rave culture has made on him.

“My only goal has been and always will be to bring you the best experiences in the world. I’ve committed my life to it & I’ll never stop. After all these years, I’m still a raver at my core and care deeply about this culture & community.”

Stay tuned for more information on the Reddit AMA for EDC Las Vegas 2021 and all things Insomniac.

In his statement, Rotella begins by thanking all those behind the scenes, the Speedway, government officials, and more for their patience and understanding of the complications that arose because of the effects of the pandemic. He then cites that the reason for the change is due to a recent update by Clark County. The latest approved plan cites that 60% of the residents of the county must be vaccinated before large gatherings are allowed. This includes EDCLV, and the county currently is not up to that measurement. It’s unfortunate that this is happening, but hopefully everything will fall into place soon!

Tickets will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Fans are also able to opt for a full refund – you can grab more details at this link. If you have already transferred your ticket to 2022, your ticket will also be transferred to the new dates unless you choose to receive a refund.

Take a look at the full statement below.

The post EDC Las Vegas Is Moving To October 2021 appeared first on EDMTunes.

After recently canceling EDC Las Vegas 2020, organizers moved ahead with EDC for May 21- 23, 2021. To give headliners a chance to obtain a pass, Insomniac held a sale of all remaining tickets available for the event.

Certainly, it comes as no surprise that tickets would sell out. In 2019, Insomniac sold out it’s EDC Las Vegas 2020 passes in just a few days. This is remarkably fast for the festival to sell out. Therefore, it was no shock that this would happen again, especially when 2021 will be the 25th anniversary of the adored music event.

For those who were unable to purchase a ticket, you can join the official EDC Las Vegas Waitlist. Although you will not be guaranteed tickets, you still have the chance to obtain passes once they become available. If you want to increase your chances of attending the event, then make sure to join the exchange as soon as possible; the sooner you sign up, the better the odds that you will get a ticket.

Stay tuned for future announcements for this truly historic event.

An illegal rave in an empty North Las Vegas lot drew hundreds of Independence Day revelers who did not practice social distancing or wear masks around Covid-19, video footage from KVCW shows.

A flier for the rave, called ‘The Final Fuse Phase 2,’ showed it took place from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. and apparently directed attendees not to post about it on social media. Meanwhile, promotions for the event were all over social media and with no mention of rules to comply with Nevada’s pandemic health and safety guidelines.

The desert rave broke out within 24 hours of Nevada seeing 840 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to more than 22,400 cases including more than 18,400 in Clark County where Las Vegas sits.

In an interview on KVCW, Dr. Christina Madison of the Roseman University of Health Sciences said the public should try to refrain from such large group gatherings as a rave because “it’s a super spreader event just waiting to happen.”

“Please, please take responsibility for yourself. Do not spread this to others,” Madison said. “Do not fill up our E.R.s and our ICUs and get people to the point where they have to require a ventilator, please, I’m begging you.”

Anyone who was attended the illegal rave should get tested for Covid-19 and self-isolate for at least 14 days, she advised.

No state business license for the company behind the rave was found.

Putting Legal Raves At Risk

News of the illegal rave generated lengthy discussion on the r/aves subreddit on Monday.

One Reddit user commented: “This gives the rave community such a bad look. Stay home y’all! If not raves and festivals will not be happening any time soon.”

Indeed, mass gatherings including the desert rave with people not wearing masks or staying six feet apart from each other are high risk for spreading the virus, which leads to halting reopening plans and puts legally organized events at risk of not happening in 2020. Namely, Electric Daisy Carnival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which is the most massive dance music festival in the U.S. and was rescheduled for October 2 to 4.

The Fourth of July was not the first holiday weekend during the ongoing pandemic with non-social distanced parties emerging. Over Memorial Day weekend, clubs and bars in Scottsdale, Arizona, opened their doors and videos showed no social distancing and few masks. Partygoers also flocked to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri for Memorial Day and a couple of attendees at pool parties tested positive for Covid-19. That didn’t stop partiers from going to the Ozarks for the Fourth of July weekend.

Five months into the pandemic, quarantine fatigue is real and obvious all over the world, including at illegal forest raves in the U.K. last month that ended with arrests, violence, drugs, and even death.

As coronavirus case numbers surge in places not practicing social distancing and mask-wearing, keep in mind that instant gratification jeopardizes the satisfaction of a legally organized, premier production like EDC Las Vegas.

And now, just a few weeks ago, a more concrete proposal by the Florida-based company for Las Vegas train service has continued to advance. The privately-held firm has taken huge key steps to secure private debt funding under tax-free private bonds. On April 14th, the convenient electric train was approved for them. An additional $2.4 billion will now be added to the total amount funded. Apart from this, there will be one other session of funding needed. Even so, this was the most crucial step of the project.

The Chief Strategy Officer of the Florida-based company expects that construction of the project could start at the end of this year. If all goes well, the expected completion will be sometime in 2023. Many are speculating that the average fare will be around $60. Travel time will be roughly 80 to 90 minutes.

Above all, this development will make things a lot easier for those in or nearby Southern California looking to go to Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas! This train will be an easier, safer, and environmentally better option for those in the area heading to and from Vegas.

Despite COVID-19, we can feel positively about our music lifestyles resuming by 2023 where we can enjoy this train! Undoubtedly, it will add to the whole experience for a weekend in California or in Vegas!

Recently, Pasquale posted a photo of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, announcing his excitement for the expansion of EDC Las Vegas. For years, Insomniac attempted to remove RV hookups around the speedway, and now they are finally being removed. This will allow EDC Las Vegas 2020 to be much bigger and expanded. Pasquale also announced that he will be releasing the theme and lineup in the next coming week. Stay tuned for EDCLV lineup through a special Music Through Music episode on Night Owl Radio, next Thursday on February 20th at 6 PM PST.

In other updates, EDC Orlando receives a third day to the festival without increasing price tickets. Pasquale writes, “Orlando has grown to 75,000 Headliners a day, and I can’t wait to return to the Sunshine State!” Furthermore, Beyond Wonderland also returns to the Pacific Northwest with more details incoming. We have a feeling he means The Gorge that is conveniently becoming available thanks to his lawsuit against USC Events.

Without forgetting the oldest, longest-standing Insomniac festival, Pasquale addresses updates for Nocturnal Wonderland. Pasquale relays that he is weighing a couple of different options. Nocturnal Wonderland 2020 may be skipped entirely, or it might return to the Glen Helen Amphitheater for its 25th year. Pasquale will release a poll on his Instagram soon “to see what the vibe is.”
