When Dom Dolla finally took the stage, the energy around Flushing Meadows jumped immediately. He opened with ‘DANGER DANGER,’ his new collaboration with Solomun and Skepta, which had only been released the day before. One of my favorite moments came early when he dropped his unreleased ‘What’s Up New York’ edit. I’ve heard clips of it online before, but hearing it while actually standing in New York hit differently. The crowd knew exactly what was coming and erupted the second the vocal came in. Another standout was ‘Heaven,’ which Dom had only played during his 60,000-person Marvel Stadium show in Melbourne a few weeks earlier. As someone who follows his sets closely, it was unreal getting to hear it in person.

The production was massive. Flames shot into the air throughout the night and the pyro somehow kept getting bigger as the set went on. One of the coolest moments was watching 35,000 people take part in Dom’s now-famous sit-down before exploding back to their feet together. Standing in the middle of it with thousands of other fans was something else entirely.

Dom never let the set settle into a predictable rhythm. One minute he was dropping crowd favorites like ‘Miracle Maker’ and ‘Moving Blind,’ and the next he was testing unreleased tracks. It had everyone around me asking the same question: what was that? As much as I loved hearing the records I already knew, it was the IDs that lingered long after the show ended. ‘Heaven’ was a clear standout, and left me hoping it wouldn’t be long before we hear those tracks again.

Walking out of Flushing Meadows, I had the same feeling I get after the amazing shows: I wanted to do it all over again. Dom delivered every big moment we could have hoped for. From massive pyro and crowd-favorite singalongs to the now-famous sit-down that 35,000 of us move in perfect sync. But the moments that will stay with me most are the ones that felt unique to that night and that city. For my first visit to Flushing Meadows, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I wanted every moment to be a surprise.

A major highlight came when Hero Baldwin joined the group on stage. Her voice has become synonymous with some of Tinlicker’s most beloved records, including ‘Tell Me’, ‘Surrender’, ‘I Started A Fire’, ‘Dancing In The Dark’, and ‘I Want My Freedom’. Hearing those tracks performed live added a completely different dimension to the experience. The emotion and energy she brings to the stage cannot be replicated through a recording.

What stood out most throughout the night was how the live instruments transformed the music. The addition of live synths, keys, percussion, and vocals gave familiar songs extra depth and impact. For me, the defining moment came during the Tinlicker remix of Lane 8’s ‘Fractures’. It was emotional, uplifting, and one of the night’s most memorable moments. Another personal highlight was hearing ‘Rebirth’. Whether it is a club set or a live show, it remains my favourite Tinlicker record. Experiencing it live alongside Hero’s vocals was something special.

The evening came full circle when Helsloot returned to the stage for his collaboration with Tinlicker, bringing an unforgettable first night in Toronto to a fitting close.

Night Two

While the setlist remained largely unchanged on Saturday, that hardly mattered. Tinlicker’s live show is the type of performance that rewards a second viewing. One of us attended the Friday show while another writer covered Saturday, yet both nights delivered the same emotional impact that has become a hallmark of the duo’s live format.

The weekend extended beyond HISTORY as well. Earlier in the day, Tinlicker hosted a signing session for fans before making a stop at Sonic Boom. There, the duo joined Helsloot for an intimate B2B set inside one of Toronto’s most recognizable record stores. It offered fans a completely different experience from the theatre setting later that evening and highlighted the natural chemistry between the artists.

Helsloot proved to be the perfect complement to the weekend. His melodic style blends seamlessly with Tinlicker’s sound, whether opening a packed venue or sharing the decks in a much more intimate setting. Seeing him open both nights, join Tinlicker on stage, and then play a B2B set at Sonic Boom made him a key part of the overall experience.

By the end of the weekend, it felt like much more than a tour stop. Between Hero Baldwin’s live vocals, Helsloot’s memorable appearances, two nights at HISTORY, and an intimate record store performance, Tinlicker delivered a complete experience for Toronto fans. In an interview earlier this year, she described 2025 as a period largely spent developing Knight Club and establishing her identity as an artist. For 2026, she wanted to redirect more of that attention toward making and releasing music.

Knight Club has continued developing alongside that goal. The rave concept has hosted artists including Azzecca, Partiboi69 and Juicy Romance, giving Knight another platform to shape the musical environment around her rather than approaching each appearance solely as a DJ set.

Her relationship with sound also extends well outside nightlife. Before pursuing music professionally, Knight studied computer science and trained in sound meditation with David Shemesh and Alexandre Tannous. She now brings that background into Duality is Reality, an immersive project combining sound, meditation and breathwork.

The contrast between those projects is unusual but intentional. One explores sound through stillness and meditation, while Knight Club and records such as ‘Uno Dos Tres’ approach it through movement and physical energy.

Her touring schedule has expanded at the same time. Knight’s 2026 appearances include ARC Music Festival and Club Space, with III Points, Hocus Pocus, Seismic and EDC Colombia among the dates surrounding the latter part of the year.

‘Uno Dos Tres’ now brings that momentum to HARD Recs for the first time, adding another label to Knight’s growing catalogue while giving her a new home for the rave influences running through the record.

Numark has introduced two affordable controllers aimed at beginner and mobile DJs: the Party Mix III and the ultra-portable MixTrack Go, priced at $149 and $99, respectively.

Both controllers bring features typically associated with more advanced DJ workflows—including Stems control, Bluetooth MIDI and Fade FX—into compact setups designed to make learning how to mix a little less intimidating.

According to Numark’s official announcement, both models are available now through authorized retailers.

Party Mix III Adds Stems—and a Light Show

The Party Mix III builds on Numark’s beginner-focused Party Mix series with a traditional two-deck layout, capacitive jog wheels and eight performance pads per deck.

Those pads control Hot Cues, Loops, Sampler, Stems and FX, while dedicated Instrumental and Acapella buttons let DJs separate elements of a track on the fly.

And because it wouldn’t really be a Party Mix without it, Numark kept the controller’s built-in beat-synced LED light show.

The controller also includes Beat Align indicators designed to help beginners learn manual beatmatching, along with three-band EQ, filters and dedicated headphone and speaker outputs.

MixTrack Go Takes DJing Portable

For DJs who care more about portability, the MixTrack Go strips the setup down even further.

At just 1.32 pounds, Numark calls it the most compact controller in its lineup. It still includes capacitive jog wheels, performance pads, Stems controls, Fade FX and a built-in audio interface.

Both controllers can connect to compatible smartphones and tablets using Bluetooth MIDI, or connect traditionally through USB-C. They work with Algoriddim djay and Serato DJ Lite, while Serato DJ Pro and VirtualDJ are also supported with separate licenses.

They’re also USB-C powered, meaning a laptop, phone, tablet, USB adapter or even a power bank can keep the setup running.

One thing worth noting: Bluetooth is being used to control the DJ software, not to wirelessly transmit audio through the controller. When connected via Bluetooth MIDI, Numark says DJs will need to monitor their audio through the connected phone or tablet.

For someone learning their first transitions—or wanting a tiny controller they can throw in a bag—the barrier to getting behind the decks just got a little lower.

The Australian producer shared a new video teasing a new show he says has been months in the making, highlighting upcoming stops across Melbourne, New York, the Bay Area, Nashville, Chicago, Singapore and Auckland.

“It begins… I’ve spent months working on a new show and can’t wait to show you guys what’s been cooked up,” Dom wrote in his Instagram announcement.

And he’s bringing a few lucky fans along for the ride.

Dom Dolla Has a Massive Run Ahead

The giveaway arrives as Dom prepares for some of the biggest headline performances of his career.

Following his massive hometown performance at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Dom reflected on what it meant to play in front of roughly 60,000 people at home.

“It feels so damn good to be home,” Dom wrote. “I’d like to say I’ve dreamt of this moment since I very first started in music, but the truth is I had no idea hosting a show like this was even in the realm of possible realities.”

He also teased just how busy the next few months will be, naming Melbourne, New York, Head Trip, the Bay Area, Nashville, Chicago, Houston, Singapore and Auckland, adding that he’s “fired up to put on some of the best gigs of my life.”

That momentum continues with Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York on October 3, followed by Cow Palace in the Bay Area on October 16.

Nashville gets two nights at The Pinnacle on October 23 and 24, while Dom heads to Navy Pier’s Festival Hall in Chicago on October 30 and 31 for Halloween weekend.

His international run continues with Singapore on November 27, before heading to New Zealand for Auckland on February 6, 2027.
