MPH handled every element of ‘Warlord’ himself — writing, producing, programming, mixing, vocals and instrumentation all fall under his own name. The track has already built a following through his festival sets, where it’s become something of a live staple, and UK tastemaker Ben UFO has been spinning it well ahead of the official release, adding to the buildup.

“‘Warlord’ is more of a throwback tune for me from the golden era of UK bass music/jackin, think 2014-2018,” MPH said. “It’s a staple in all my sets and always gets a good reaction.“

After his CRSSD Festival set in San Diego, MPH heads to Portland, OR to kick off his fall 2026 North American run at REALM. The tour continues through Ogden Theatre in Denver on November 14, Black Creek Assembly in Toronto on November 27, and wraps at Knockdown Center in New York City on November 28. He’ll also stop by III Points Festival in Miami on October 17, Haunted Fest in Columbus, OH on October 30, and EDC Orlando on November 6.

It’s been a busy year for the producer on the festival circuit, with stops at Ultra Miami — where Sebastian Ingrosso pulled him into Swedish House Mafia’s headline set — along with EDC Las Vegas, Lightning in a Bottle, Tomorrowland, Parklife, Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.

Inside Here, Forever

Here, Forever is described as pure peak-time material, written almost entirely on the road. MPH says he wrote 90 percent of the record in transit — on buses, on flights, between soundchecks and departure gates — during a stretch of 50 gigs across four months last year.

The album includes ‘Mirage,’ his collaboration with Skrillex that samples Red Rat’s 2009 dancehall cut ‘Shelly-Ann.’ Also featured is ‘Long Goodbye,’ a collaboration with songwriter and vocalist Nathan Nicholson, along with MPH’s April 2026 single ‘Unconditional.’

The album will be available with a vinyl edition and new merchandise line — including t-shirts, a hoodie, a fan and a sticker pack. Listen to ‘Warlord’ below.

For over a decade, CRSSD has built its programming philosophy around artists shaping contemporary dance music culture rather than chasing trends. The festival has consistently prioritized sonic discovery alongside large-scale festival energy, creating an experience that feels both intimate and expansive in San Diego’s scenic waterfront setting.

Fall 2026’s lineup reflects this approach with a diverse range of influential and emerging voices. The programming moves fluidly between genres while maintaining CRSSD’s signature focus on tastemakers and underground innovators who define the direction of electronic music.

Standout Performances and Rare Collaborations

The weekend’s marquee attraction comes in the form of Chris Lake b2b Disclosure, a rare meeting of minds between the UK house powerhouse duo and the ‘Black Book’ producer. Other standout acts include Brazilian house sensation Mochakk, hard techno powerhouse 999999999, and grime pioneer Skepta Más Tiempo making his festival debut.

The lineup continues with foundational house influence Groove Armada delivering a DJ set, alongside the genre-blending pairing of Carlita b2b Rossi. High-intensity techno comes courtesy of I Hate Models, while German dance phenomenon Marlon Hoffstadt and viral rave disruptor horsegiirl add their own distinctive flavors to the mix.

Hard-hitting mainstay Layton Giordani joins rave-driven Irish producer KETTAMA and melodic techno innovators Mathame to round out the upper tier of talent spanning the festival’s three stages.

CRSSD’s signature Ocean View programming highlights artists operating beyond traditional club frameworks. Big Wild brings his expansive blend of live instrumentation and cinematic electronic production, while DRAMA merges soulful vocals with sleek dance-pop sensibilities. French cult favorite Sebastien Tellier adds art-pop eccentricity to the proceedings.

The crossover offerings continue with indie-electronic duo Balu Brigada, genre-fluid act ROYA, and bass-heavy house selector AYYBO. UK garage talent Notion joins rising producer beginagain, deep-groove house artist EAR, Norwegian producer Oskar Med K, and retro-futurist project Mind Enterprises, whose synth-heavy sound draws from vintage Italo-disco and leftfield dance influences.

House devotees will find plenty to groove to at The Palms stage, featuring Australian favorite Sonny Fodera, euphoric UK garage duo Prospa, and rising producer CHASEWEST. The house programming spans groove-driven selector Dean Turnley, Italian export GENESI, dancefloor curator Greg 99, and minimal-leaning veteran Jamback.

Meanwhile, City Steps delivers focused high-impact techno and underground rave talent. Boundary-pushing club icon VTSS headlines alongside Berlin legend Helena Hauff, cinematic techno duo KAS:ST, and influential UK selector Ben UFO. The stage also features globally in-demand innovator salute, genre-blurring act Son of Son, and UK garage talent MPH.

Set along San Diego’s picturesque waterfront, each of CRSSD’s three stages — Ocean View, City Steps, and The Palms — delivers its own carefully curated sonic identity. The festival creates distinct experiences that guide attendees through cutting-edge electronic music beneath the Southern California sun.

Beyond the music, CRSSD delivers craft food and beverage offerings alongside interactive activations. The fan-favorite CRSSD Lab returns as an immersive cultural space where guests can explore vinyl selections and discover emerging artists.

The celebration extends into San Diego with CRSSD After Dark, the festival’s acclaimed afterparty series taking over clubs and venues throughout the city. After Dark programming features lineup artists alongside special surprise guests, with details to be announced closer to the event.

Saturday

Saturday had so many artists I wanted to see. So, I couldn’t just settle on one when I arrived. I walked in and listened to some sounds of AC Slater at the Palms. His set definitely felt like a jungle house set. He didn’t play any tracks I knew. But overall still a danceable set that got the crowd pumping. Next, I walked on to City Steps to finally check out Testpilot, deadmau5’s techno alias. To my surprise, you could hear his signature progressive sounds but he entertained me with its difference. That difference was the bouncy techno bassline, and I think the crowd certainly enjoyed him too.

Furthering my curiosity, I headed to Ocean View where DRAMA played. She gave a great performance, singing her music live and letting the ocean breeze wash over the area. The atmosphere here was great; everyone had dancing space and her music sounded reminiscent of Odesza’s soundscape so you know it provided chill, emotive vibes.

Now, Stephan Bodzin delightfully surprised me. His melodic techno tracks included ones from his Boavista album. I enjoyed his set a lot, as this was my first time seeing him. I had heard about him and now I finally got to hear him. CRSSD seemed like the perfect venue for him. Deep melodies have my heart and so does his sound. His set took me to European warehouses that breathe techno.

Hayden James just moved to the US and he was happy to be playing here. I vibed to all his tracks the entire set. He opened and modified his track ‘Just A Lover’ to an unexpected deep festival cut. Then, he mixed ‘Foolproof’ with Gorgon City’s ‘Tell Me It’s True’. What’s more, he threw in ‘Favors’ and brought back Eric Prydz’ ‘Pjanoo’. I thoroughly enjoyed dancing and listening to him for the first time as well. His excitement while performing got the crowd excited; a wholesome set from a wholesome guy.

DUCK. SAUCE.

When I say set of the night for me, I mean it. A-Trak and Armand van Helden – you guys rock. You want the best in house music? Please see Duck Sauce because their disco house set, and theatrical performance absolutely knocked it out of the park for me. We’ve all seen Armand alone and we’ve followed A-Trak throughout his career. Both are standout producers and legends of the industry. But together? Man, their retro 80s visuals, duck bills, and matching jackets got the people going. Their visuals included an eclectic mix of Fresh Prince clips, 80s singers, dancers, techtonik dancing, and of course, the running of a million ducks. With tracks like ‘NRG’, ‘Barbara Streisand’, ‘Big Bad Wolf’, A-Trak’s remix of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s ‘Heads Will Roll’, ‘aNYway’, and more, you could not ask for a better set. They closed out Ocean View without a soul standing still.

Ending the night with MK at The Palms, he played an atypical set to my expectations. Compared to his previous piano/deep house sets, this set took a different direction with more jungly, hard-hitting beats. The crowd didn’t stop jiving though which is what CRSSD is all about–the music. And when he incorporates ‘17‘ into his set, you just know everyone sings along.

Sunday

For those that went Sunday, I can only imagine the best in beats from Fatboy Slim, Richie Hawtin, Fred Again.., and Reinier Zonneveld. Though I did not attend, I know whichever stage you chose, you’re going to find the music you want. I wish I could see everyone for even just a little bit. But some sets just captivate you, making you stay.

CRSSD is my favorite festival by far. From food, production, music, and atmosphere. Not to mention, it’s a good weekend getaway in San Diego with the water right there. Also, the event’s aesthetic is everything. You can even dance in fountains! It’s great to see CRSSD expanded with DAY.MVS in August and FNGRS CRSSD for club shows. I can’t wait to see what artists they bring next year.

Follow CRSSD Festival here and stay tuned for future events.
