EDC Week: Basscon Pool Party

Justin DeRoy — Mon, 13 Jun 2016 16:50:59 +0000

Tickets

During EDC week, there are tons of awesome events happening. There’s EDC itself, club shows, and lots of pool parties. One of the pool parties that should be one of the most exciting is the Basscon Pool Party , hosted at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino on Thursday June 16th.

It’s got an entirely hardstyle lineup with headliners consisting of Code Black, LNY TNZ, Da Tweekaz, Lady Faith , and Kutski. All of which have had very successful careers and made appearances around the globe. There’s no excitement quite like raging to some 150-170 BPM in a pool underneath the hot vegas sun. Buy tickets to the show here.

EDC Week: Top Five Bass Events to Check Out

Justin DeRoy — Fri, 03 Jun 2016 16:06:26 +0000

With EDC Vegas right around the corner, festival goers are making their last preparations and buying tickets to any other side events and activities that might interest them. Here we will showcase five events during EDC week that are bass-head oriented and perfect for those who like to bang their heads to some dubstep, trap, and hardstyle. Listed below in no particular order are the top five events to fit all your basshead cravings when you make your trip to EDC Vegas.

Bassrush Massive: Headlined by Excision, Snails, Datsik, Boombox Cartel, Delta Heavy, Teddy Killerz featuring special guests Caspa & Rusko doing a B2B set. Hosted at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel on Thursday June 16, Bassrush is no doubt going to be one of the most highly anticipated events of EDC week due to its filthy lineup and stellar venue.

Basscon Pool Party: Headlined by Code Black, LNY TNZ, Da Tweekaz, Kutski and Lady Faith. Hosted at the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino on Thursday June 16, Basscon Pool Party is a dream for any hardstyle fan. Hearing your favorite hard dance music while chilling in a pool in the scorching Las Vegas heat, you couldn’t ask for a better scenario to be raging to some hardstyle.

Skrillex & Marshmello: Hosted at Surrender Nightclub on Wednesday June 15, Skrillex and Marshmello never fail to get the party started. World renowned for his dubstep and trap productions, Skrillex puts on an unforgettable show every time he graces the decks. The anonymous Marshmello has been around for a short time, but the hype he brings to the club is unparalleled.

NGHTMRE: Hosted at Encore Beach Club on Friday June 17, Nghtmre has an energetic vibe in his live sets that can’t be beat. Perhaps one of the biggest up and comers in the trap scene, He throws down an unbelievably rowdy live set that is sure to make your face melt.

DJ Snake: Hosted at Encore Beach Club on Sunday June 19, DJ Snake will surely be dropping some heavy trap bangers that will have any attendees fist bumping and head banging. With his last five singles reaching platinum status, DJ Snake has been on an unstoppable roll with his productions but his impressive touring resume speaks volumes about the quality of his live sets as well.
