The track’s origin story is a little unusual. ANOTR explained that the record came together during a retreat in upstate New York right after Burning Man, when a group of collaborators ended up in a studio session that turned into something bigger than anyone expected.

“We made this one during a retreat in upstate New York, right after Burning Man. A lot of music came out of those days, but Talk To You kind of built itself. 5 complete strangers in the studio, messing around with instruments and layering ideas… S’mores, campfire, cornhole and a lot of snacks to keep the creative juice flowing with 54 Ultra, Jackson Shanks & Spilly Cave. FNGRS CRSSD has revealed the Phase One lineup for PROPER NYE/NYD 2026, returning to Petco Park on December 31 and January 1. Since launching in 2022, the festival has become a favorite for fans looking for a more curated New Year’s experience. This year’s lineup might be its strongest yet.

One of the biggest highlights comes from a special b3b featuring Cloonee, KETTAMA, and Josh Baker. All three artists will also perform solo sets throughout the weekend. Expect this one to be a crowd magnet. Techno fans have plenty to get excited about as well. Sara Landry leads the charge alongside I Hate Models, Klangkuenstler, Nico Moreno, and Eli Brown. The lineup definitely leans heavier than previous editions, bringing more hard-hitting sounds to the forefront.

House music remains at the heart of PROPER.
