Juan Miguel Costa, who has overseen Ibiza’s recent tourism boom, believes it’s time for travelers from the United States to have a more direct route to the island. Currently, Americans must make a stopover in Europe before reaching Ibiza. But with record-breaking tourist numbers and soaring sales figures, officials see a direct connection as a strategic move to expand the island’s reach.

Preliminary plans are focused on major U.S. hubs like New York, Atlanta, and Miami as potential departure points for nonstop flights. While the initiative will take time to develop, Costa points to strong support from leading hotel brands as a sign of momentum. In addition, Ibiza is partnering with major travel platforms like Expedia and Booking.com to build attractive travel packages and secure broader support for the project.

Hï Ibiza continues to be voted the best club in the world. Black Coffee will open the season this year on May 17th. Next door to them, Ushuaïa Ibiza has brought in world-class DJs for years, hosting huge residencies including Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, Armin van Buuren, Kygo, David Guetta, and many more!

Yes, you read that right. Yesterday, Armin van Buuren‘s legendary radioshow A State Of Trance celebrated ADE their own way — with a ten-hour episode. The Armada guys invited an incredible roster which included acts such as Ferry Corsten, SUPERSTRINGS, Miss Monique, Maddix, and more. Between the sets, they accidentally leaked the news.

Armin had Pasquale Rotella — Insomniac CEO — over to have a chat, mostly because Insomniac and ASOT sealed a partnership for the former to take over production for next year’s ASOT Rotterdam weekender festival. But in the middle of the conversation, the news timidly arose: ASOT’s next stop appears to be the US. Don’t forget that ASOT does come to Miami each March for Ultra Music Festival, but the scale of the event has shrunk over the years. Now ASOT wants to do a full-on arena level show in the US again.

During the airing, Armin told Pasquale “This is off the record, but my dream is to do what we do in the Netherlands but in your home country, so I think we should do that. The future is bright for A State of Trance and this is gonna be such an epic moment when we work together for the first time in February“. To what then Rotella mumbled the magic words, “What better place to leak it — you kinda just leaked it — I couldn’t be more excited about (…), in the States, there needs to be an epic, massive, perfectly produced ASOT“.

So there you go! Inhabitants of the Land of the Free, it was about time, wasn’t it? Start warming up for what might be the greatest news for the Trance family in the States. Stay tuned to our page for we’ll be updating this as it unrolls.

Hold on, how is this possible when your Bluetooth headphones sometimes struggle a few feet away? Here’s the trick: Hubble Network’s satellites have special antennas that act like magnifying glasses for Bluetooth signals. Plus, their clever software update boosts communication range.

This breakthrough lets regular Bluetooth devices talk to satellites using low power, a first in the industry. It’s all thanks to Hubble Network’s founders, a dream team of tracking technology experts. They even overcame challenges like the Doppler effect, which messes with radio signals due to the satellite’s high speed.

Hubble Network

Founded in Seattle by Alex Haro (of Life360 fame) and Ben Wild (founder of Iotera, a GPS tracking company), Hubble Network has been on a roll. They raised a cool $20 million earlier this year, showing the excitement around their revolutionary idea.

Think about a smart doorbell that keeps working even if the Wi-Fi goes out, or sensors on an oil rig that can send data without needing a ton of power. With Hubble’s network, these wouldn’t be problems anymore.

Hubble’s network does more than just connect things – it allows them to share way more information than just location. This could be a game-changer for tons of industries, from keeping track of deliveries to monitoring wildlife. Basically, Hubble Network is taking the familiar tech of Bluetooth and supercharging it for a whole new world of possibilities.

Hubble Network has only begun its audacious mission. Their initial toehold consists of just two orbiting satellites, a mere shadow of their planned “production constellation” of 36. Yet, these two pioneers have already achieved a connection stretching 600km – a testament to the ingenuity behind Hubble’s vision.

Their roadmap is ambitious, bordering on fantastical. A “beta constellation” of four satellites, slated for launch in early 2025, promises users a taste of the future: daily connectivity for low-bandwidth devices. But the true prize lies ahead – a massive launch in 2026 unleashing the full 36-satellite network. This behemoth, Hubble contends, will transform the landscape of global connectivity, enabling a staggering billion devices to talk directly to satellites via Bluetooth. (Source)

The tour will kick off in Miami, which is very fitting. As a matter of fact, David Guetta & Morten will play their first B2B show at Story Club for Miami Music Week, ahead of Ultra. After that, fans will have the chance to catch them together at the iconic Exchange in Los Angeles, on April 29th, before making a stop at the Brooklyn Mirage in New York City in May. Finally, the two will bring the Future Rave project to EDC Las Vegas.

After 15 official releases together – the latest one being ‘Permanence’ back in January – many expected this tour earlier. However, David Guetta & Morten met a few hurdles along the way, the biggest one being the pandemic. Now, they are ready to continue the promotion of Future Rave, starting with the United States.

Obviously, these B2Bs should be incredible. The two must be sitting on a ton of IDs that are waiting to be tested live. If you can catch the David Guetta & MORTEN present Future Rave show this year, you will definitely hear some unreleased songs.

You can check all the tour dates on David Guetta’s official website. For tickets information, please visit this link.

If you spent any time in elementary school, you know about the ineffective D.A.R.E program (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) that warned you to lay off “dope,” “Mary Jane,” and “reefer”, among countless other pseudonyms for drugs.

Now, a recent study done by the drug education platform, Project Know, has broken down how drug terminology for cocaine, LSD, xanax, MDMA, heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine, varies throughout America.

To try and understand the unique drug slang used across the country, the platform surveyed over 1,150 American men and women about their evolving language. It looked at whether or not they could correctly identify the drugs in question. Between the two genders, the study claims that “men had more obscure terminology, while women used more common epithets”.

Take a look at the findings by state below:

Cocaine

Heroin

LSD

Marijuana

MDMA

Methamphetamine

Xanax

Interestingly enough, the results show that between millennials, generation x-ers, and baby boomers, “no generations used the same unique terms for the drugs surveyed”.

Regardless of how you say it, drug use greatly affects the lives of Americans across the country. You can view the full study here.

While thousands of fans celebrated Tomorrowland in Belgium these past weekends, those of us in the states received good news: there’s a good chance that TomorrowWorld might be coming back to the U.S. The festival previously took place from 2013 to 2015 in Atlanta Georgia before being cancelled in 2016.

For those unaware, TomorrowWorld’s parent company, SFX, experienced financial issues and subsequently declared bankruptcy. Since then, the lack of consumer confidence has caused them to rebrand as LiveStyle. LiveStyle has been talking again to Tomorrowland and their spokesperson Debby Wilmsen had this to say:

“The relations between SFX and Tomorrowland were acidified, but now that new people are in control of the current LiveStyle, there is a new approach.”

This is definitely positive news for anyone wanting this festival back in the USA. And let’s not forget that this may also mean a return of Tomorrowland Brasil. Hopefully their talks continue and progress to getting the event back up and running.

Although Bernie famously dropped his own folk album while mayor of Burlington, Vermont in 1987, he probably never expected to have his own music festival. That will change on April 21st, as Bernie supporters are throwing a Bernie Sanders for President Block Party that is being dubbed Berniechella. The free event in Old Town Coachella will feature artists such as Alex Ebert, the lead singer of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and DJs such as Shepard Fairey and Lenny Kravitz’s daughter Zoë Kravitz. Berniechella speaks to the passion of Sanders’ supporters, who have already honored him with the one-day musical Bernie Fest in Chicago and can look forward to the three-day Bernanza in Omaha on June 30th. Coachella seemed like the perfect inspiration because nothing says socialism like people paying over $300 for a music festival.

XYLO – America (ATTLAS Remix)

It’s not that often that a producer can pop up out of nowhere and continuously pump out extremely impressive tracks, yet that it exactly what the mysterious ATTLAS keeps on doing. While some still believe ATTLAS is deadmau5 despite denials from Joel, there is no denying that ATTLAS tracks have a legendary quality to them. His Siren EP was very well received and mau5trap is even hinting that ATTLAS might score a film (are we sure this isn’t deadmau5?).

His latest effort is a dark progressive remix to XYLO‘s “America” that was recently previewed by Pete Tong. The sultry vocals echo beautifully off of the dark electronic reverbs provided, making for a perfect track to listen to while looking out your window on a rainy day. Unfortunately, the preview at this point is quite short, but there’s no doubt we’ll hear more about it from mau5trap soon enough. Check out the preview below and stay tuned for more info.
