The two lead singles, ‘The Realm’ and ‘No Division’ ft. XSALT introduces us to Charlotte’s new dimension. Filled with powerful basslines and meaningful vocals that convey prowess, this duo offers a glimpse of the rest of the album. Next up, we have the folk-like chants in ‘Vidmahe’ and ‘After The Fall’ feat. Lisa Gerrard, which serve as a reflection of earlier releases such as ‘Pria’, ‘Sgadi Li Mi’, or ‘Sanctum’. The hypnotizing grooves carry the album’s momentum into overdrive. It delivers a masterclass in sound design. There is a juxtaposition of melancholy and triumph within many of the tracks in the album.

As the album progresses, we delve deeper into de Witte’s psyche. Tracks like ‘Memento Mori’, ‘Domine’, and ‘Become’, engulf you in darkness and atmospheric beats. The artist isn’t afraid to tap into certain emotions and sounds that challenge listeners. In ritualistic fashion, your dance moves will flow along the somber textures. Of course, Acid is one of the main components in the LP. It can be heard as either the main element or supporting soundscape on each track. Similar to ‘No Division’, ‘The Heads That Know’ feat. Comma Dee inspires with attitude and strength. The hip-hop-charged lyrics add some lightheartedness within the gloomier soundwaves.

As expected, de Witte provides a unique track selection. This includes non-Techno tracks such as ‘Higher’, which has strong Break and Jungle influences. The eerie ambient closing track ‘Matière Noire’ feat. Alice Evermore finalizes the album. The French spoken word adds some serenity and decompression. After all, we astral projected at least 56 times in the span of one hour.

De Witte is currently celebrating her album release in Los Angeles with three immense underplays: Yesterday at the Street Bridge, today at the Grand Park Block 2, and tomorrow at Naud Street. To finish the weekend strong, the Belgian artist is closing down EDC Orlando this Sunday. Up next, Charlotte de Witte returns home for another takeover of Flanders Expo in Ghent February 6th.

In a randomized study involving 198 adults aged 18 to 74 diagnosed with moderate to severe GAD, participants received one of four LSD dosages or a placebo. The treatment was administered under clinical supervision—yet no psychotherapy was provided during the session.

Just 24 hours later, individuals who received the highest dosages – 100 or 200 micrograms – began reporting significant reductions in anxiety symptoms. These improvements became more pronounced by the fourth week, outperforming those given lower doses or a placebo.

Twelve weeks post-treatment, the results stood out: approximately 65% of patients treated with the 100 µg dose continued to benefit, and nearly half had achieved full remission. Depression symptoms also noticeably improved in this group – effects not seen in recipients of lower doses. MindMed’s researchers now consider 100 micrograms the optimal amount for future trials.

Safety was also a consideration. Although common side effects included hallucinations, nausea, and headaches, there were no incidents of self-harm or suicidal behavior among participants.

The FDA has granted MindMed’s LSD-based treatment a “breakthrough therapy” designation, a status that could streamline its path to approval. Meanwhile, the company is already running a larger Phase 3 trial, expected to yield results in late 2026.

Experts have hailed the findings as a potentially transformative development in psychiatric treatment. Historically, there’s been scant innovation for GAD—no new drugs have been approved since 2007. While psychedelics are surging anew as treatment options, researchers caution that distinguishing true drug effects from placebo remains difficult. Many participants could tell whether they’d received LSD or a placebo, potentially skewing results.

In May of 2025, Marlon Hoffstadt played in the US for the first time—on the mainstage at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, for 70,000 people. He played right between Tiësto and Armin Van Buuren. That same week, he signed a deal with Capitol Records. Capitol Records released Supersonic / Hands Up In The Sky, his first singles on an American label. Before heading back to Berlin, he headlined a sold-out show at Knockdown Center in Brooklyn, his first gig in New York City. The show was praised by EDM Identity as “one of the most electrifying performances of the season.”

Last week, Marlon Hoffstadt returned to the States to perform at HARD Summer in Los Angeles and at Lollapalooza Chicago. This is just the latest chapter in Marlon Hoffstadt’s global victory lap. He has been playing clubs in Berlin since the age of 15. The perpetually smiling, neon-haired DJ has been on fire since 2020. He reinvented himself as DJ Daddy Trance and started breaking all the rules of the scene that raised him. Whether he’s teasing new material in his sets, uploading new tracks to SoundCloud unannounced, or unexpectedly dropping five new tracks at once, his music always feels like a loving dialogue with his hardcore fans. Booty EP

The title track ‘Booty (Riviera Mix)’ starts off the EP with a heavy and funky bassline. The heavily analog vocals give out a retro feeling. Alongside the acid elements of the track, all the elements exhale a warm yet dark and vintage-esque breath into the song.

The grooves continue with the next song ‘Karaoke Corner (Riviera Mix)’. The track is a sexy and dark psychedelic trip. From echoes and stutters to harder synths and wonky percussion. Funny enough, the track has similar elements to the ‘Monster Mash’ by Bobby “Boris” Picket.

Lastly, ‘Till I’m Dead (Riviera Mix)’ completes the EP. With even heavier kicks and distortions, the song balances out the darker tones with higher-pitched vocals. Not only are all three tracks unique and twisted in their own way, but they deliver finesse and cohesiveness. This is within the auditory artwork of Florian Picasso.

One Mind EP

To enhance the unified concept of the EP, both Amelie and Charlotte’s voices are subtly layered into the tracks, together, as one. The brilliant ‘One Mind’ kicks off with rock solid, earth rattling kicks and intimate vocal whispers that draw you in close. It is very Diplo-like to be tripping on live TV and have no one be able to notice. The co-hosts burst out laughing as Diplo clarified that he was showing some restraint. “It’s like a light trip,” he noted. It must have been a microdose, because Diplo was able to perform at three shows in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.

Anderson Cooper sounded impressed with Diplo’s approach to work and play. “I wish I was Diplo,” the CNN anchor admitted. “I got to say. I just think he has a fun, cool lifestyle. Can you imagine his lifestyle?” I think we all wish a little we were Diplo.

This is not the first LSD Diplo encounter as last year he ran a marathon while tripping. We truly hope Diplo can continue to give us incredible moments like these in 2025.

With standout performances at Tomorrowland Brasil, DGTL São Paulo, and international gigs across Japan, India, and Europe, Acid Asian continues to leave an indelible mark on the global electronic scene.

“The title track is one of my favourites because it represents me 100%. Focusing on the acid line with this mantra vocal, I wanted to express something more deep to this track. ‘Space Colors’ is a track with which I wanted to express this new hard techno era using the hardstyle’s kick but keeping my style. ‘Ain’t Nobody Like Us’ is my background from rap/trap and ‘Humans’ is my psytrance background, it’s an off-beat track.”

Charlotte de Witte, who has supported Acid Asian since 2021, praised the release : “It’s been such a pleasure to see him grow and gain respect in the techno scene.” Charlotte even used Space Colors as the closing track at the main stage of Tomorrowland Brazil, where Fábio was dancing in the crowd.
